Fair enough if that's your opinion but mine is different. Mowbray has picked who he wanted Venus, Lowe, Johnson, etc. I suspect the new manager will bring who he wants whoever that new man. -

Did we get promoted? Yes. Job done. Move on. I rather Mowbray than Kean and Coyle every day of week and twice on Sunday in the Rovers dugout -

the football under Kean was dire by far. Coyle's football wasnt much better. Mowbray isnt anywhere near that level and never will be -

He got 2 weeks to work on playing with a back 4 now. The 3 at back isn't working anymore as Reading carved us several times in the first half -

It's going to between us, Huddersfield and QPR for the last playoff spot as long as Forest and Boro win their games in hand which isn't gaureentee in this league -

Mowbray, the summer and beyond
chaddyrovers replied to TheRovers1994's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Fair enough. I wouldn't want most of those managers. We need someone who will bring fresh ideas, play on the front foot, press from the front, good tactically, modern training coaching methods. Someone like Neil Critchley from Blackpool would be ideal but given he has 4 years left on his contract I don't see leaving there. -

Will Mowbray even go to India if we don't get top 6 place? I'm not sold on one candidate or a couple of candidates thinking they are right manager to move us forward, improve us, playing the football I think we should be playing at this level to replace Mowbray, But I know I wouldn't who want to see in the Blackburn Rovers dugout. -
Very heart breaking scenes seeing those pictures and I have read Liz Hurley Instagram posts Still can't believe he's gone

We have 7 games left of the season which 3 are home games(in blue) and 4 away games(in red). Saturday 2nd April Coventry 3pm kick off Saturday 9th April Blackpool 3pm kick off Friday 15th April Peterborough United 3 pm kick off Monday 18th April Stoke City 3 pm Kick off Saturday 23th April Preston North End 3pm kick off Saturday 30th April Bournemouth 3 pm Kick off Saturday 7th May Birmingham City 12.30 pm kick off Tactical approach for the next 7 games I think Mowbray need to drop this 3 at the back formation and we need to go back to playing 4-2-3-1 formation and start pressing high which we have stop doing and play of the front foot. The 3 at the back formation isn't working anymore in terms of attacking and defending in terms of clean sheets. Hopefully the international break has come at the right time where we can reset and re focus again with Mowbray accepting he needs to change tactics and the fact back 3 isn't working. So this would be my line up for the Coventry game Kaminski Lenihan Van Hecke Wharton Pickering Travis Rothwell Dolan Dack Giles Brereton How many points will we need for playoff place I think we need 15 points minimum to reach them maybe 1 or 2 points more. But The players and manager need to be switch on for these next 7 games.

Most managers will bring in their own number 2 with them Depends who is going picking the next manager and how much of a say Waggott will have. He will have his own suggestions who he would like. -

I talking about my views not what Venkys, Waggott or others at the club think. I wouldn't want Warnock anywhere near Rovers. Same as Pulis. Farke is an interesting suggestion from Glen. Its depends who is picking the next manager and what they want. I have gave a realistic list of replacements for Mowbray if we don't go up. I would put others on there if they became available -

Interesting suggestion there Glen and not someone I thought about coming here. Stoke are interested in him according to reports but maybe if we want him make him an offer to join in the summer I would like to see Damien Johnson be the new manager number 2 and I would like Dunn in some coaching role with the youth team. I would also like so a coach who was former striker in his playing days come in and work with the strikers on finishing and movement in the final third. Yes, He is representing by them given the pictures on Instagram I have posted a realistically shortlist to replace Mowbray if we don't get top 6. Maybe take a look at ir Interesting suggestion. Can I asked why? Pulis and Warnock should be no where near this game. We need a new younger manager who has fresh ideas, modern coaching ideas and got good tactically -

I would say Kean appointment was more damaging given we were relegated from the PL and thats cost us more money than anything. Kean and Coyle were useless for this clubs. Mowbray has been far from useless and he got promotion from league 1 at the first time where bigger teams like Leeds, Sunderland, Sheffield united have took longer to get out from it I still think we can get top 6 spot but there is going a few twists and turns before the seasons ends. No guarantee in a new manager bounce at all. I think I would like to Johnson and Dunn on the coaching staff on a new manager next season -

Who would you go and get Glen? Why have you mention Rob Edwards from Forest Green Rovers? I suggested him a outsider for the job a few weeks ago. What a complete and utter over reaction by yourself. Worst than Kean and Coyle? I don't think so at all -

right now? Not sure I see the benefit of sacking him right now cos I don't know who we would look to replace for a 7 game spell. I seen a few suggestions on twitter for Damien Johnson and David Dunn to be appoint until the end of the season. Would that be any better? I don't know tbh. If we don't make the playoffs then I think he should not have his contract renew and we look at bringing a new manager in the summer. -

The only positive from today game was I did enjoyed listening to Rovers legend Simon Garner on Radio Lancs where he was commentating with Andy Bayes on the game. Spoke alot of sense. -

No goals in the last 7 away games. Simply not good. We haven't been good enough today. don't deserved anything today. Mowbray got his team selection and tactics wrong today. Over complicated it again. He doesn't learn does he.
