  1. That is what will be happening to the first team squad now. expecting a fire sale of players to cover those losses and debt that needs paying
  2. My advice to Hasta was what I would do in the situation as I would want to someone face to face about moving seat. He could ring the ticket office or email the club for advice On renewing your ST, as I said I did mine online and I had no problem. Yes I worked nights shifts as I do that cos its suits my family, home life and football needs, But many Rovers fans worked a vast variation of working shifts and hours which means the club can't be open 24 hours sadly but you phone call or email can be made to the club for advise or any other matters people have. I emailed the club sometime during the night cos during the day I am asleep for most of the day and I tend to receive a reply with 24 hours.
  3. are Burnley going to so organised given they just been relegated, new owners at the helm and players agent's on the phone already to want to move their client out?
  4. its a fair point but They wanted Vincent Kompany if they stay up but didn't, so it will be interesting to see if they actually have a plan for relegation Lancs Live article(link provided) is saying Interviews will take place this week and its mentions Carlos Carvalhal, Daniel Farke and Gareth Ainsworth will be interview this week
  5. Exactly correct. Thanks for that post, QPR have spoken to several different managers including James Rowberry, Liam Manning, Sol Campbell and Tim Sherwood according to several media sources. I wouldn't be certain he got the job by any stretch. We should be appointing Farke or Carvalhal
  6. By now everyone should know how to renew the season ticket and the days of the club sending out packs to fans are out of date. The club has used different social media and even a leaflet to tell all ST holders about renewing and how to do. I did my online which took about 2 minutes to sort out My advice would be go down to the club shop/ticket office and talk to member of staff about moving seat
  7. Johnson is First Team Technical Coach & Head of Player Development. here is the full list of first team staff at the club. Staff | rovers.co.uk
  8. Mark Venus, Damien Johnson, Ben Benson, David Lowe, Liam Mason and Jack Dowling. Dowling left for Everton in March time and Mason has left for Newcastle now after the season ends.
  9. football is unpredictable as ever
  10. why? Normal a new managerial appointment tend to bring in 2 or 3 staff with him in most situations
  11. Venus is going as a couple of posters have said on here. If we couldn't get Farke or Carvalhal then I would look at Xisco Munoz who got Watford promote last season
  12. These appointments will be made in due course so lets see who we appoint. Alot of clubs have this model and its works for them. Examples are Norwich, Brentford, Forest and Huddersfield just to name a few.
  13. Did I say you said he should a new contract? No I didn't. I was saying that Rovers were said right not to offer any new contract. that's fine Glen
  14. Yes I was Mowbray staying if we got a top 6 place this season but we didn't. That what I said. Mowbray has backed money for transfers and loans. He has brought in some good loan players like Harrison Reed, Harvey Elliott, Tosin but he hasn't achieve promotion. Which should be aim for our club. Barnsley got top 6 last season and Huddersfield and Luton have spent less on fees and still managed playoff places this seasson. We need to move on and appoint a head coach who can achieve promotion within a couple of seasons. That should be aim now
  15. Rovers are after appointing a sporting director and head coach within the next couple of weeks. Have you miss that? Who are the 2 or 3 others you would prefer? Would Farke want to work with Webber after he sacked him at Norwich? I don't the backroom staff being a problem cos the new guy will be allow to bring 2 or 3 staff with him. If we can't those 2 then there is a couple of others I would like to see us approach to come in as Head coach
  16. Thanks for putting in a appearance today after the relegation so I applaud you for that. Can I ask where the club go now for next season and do you see this has huge rebuilding job there for next manager/head coach and owners? Who would you appoint as your next managerial appointment?
  17. I think Mowbray has had more than enough backing over the last 4 years/seasons to achieve promotion/playoff place and he has failed to deliver it. He can't blame anyone but himself. He was rightly let go now
  18. no attempts to try to trip anyone up but asking honest and proper questions why you would appoint someone who tactics doesn't suit our squad or our model. I would appoint an experience foreign head coach who knows the how the head coach sporting director model works
  19. Carvalhal got to 2 top 6 places whilst he was there. Just look at the job he has done at Braga. upgrade on Mowbray for sure. If he takes us to PL does it matter how long he sticks around for Why are Farke chances coming here dwindling?
  20. Don't care who they appoint as long as Rovers made an ambitious head coach and sporting director appointments. I think Burnley will look towards Mike Duff or Joey Barton
  21. Carvalhal worked at Sheffield Wednesday with a transfer committee there. He got 2 top 6 finishes there. Farke has 2 promotions from this league and that what we need to aiming for. I just not sure Ainsworth can take us to that sadly. Also not sure Ainsworth's style and tactics would be suit our squad Well that would be my first question to him if I was interviewing for the Rovers head coach job. But I just think he is the right man for the job right now. We need a manager who can get us promote within 2 season of taking charge. Just more excuses from Mowbray IMO. To be honest, I'm pleased he's gone now cos his excuses, moaning and sulking will be gone.
