I don't see much of risk tbh and nowhere as much as you do for example and tbh I think you are massive overstating it now. I'm sure JDT and Broughton would have discussed it in the interview and given JDT is mainly a coach that what he will do leaving it to DoF to sort out. I'm sure JDT will have input when we are down to final shortlist for the position we need a signing in. I don't see Broughton forcing players on him its 10 pounds for a player name now. Ssdly not. We have to see how it develops the working relationship but given the Announcement Rovers have made and what Tomasson says that he is coach and wants to coach the team. That will leave Broughton and the recruitment team to sort out signing the players

Like I just posted that my opinion of how it will between Broughton and Tomasson. I'm sure before agreeing to come here Tomasson and Broughton would have talked about their working relationship and how it will work That's why the head coach has input who on the shortlist he would prefer. Plenty of clubs have made this structure work from this league and I will give you 2 examples Brentford and Norwich That;s why Tomasson will have input before we sign someone. Didn't Mowbray want Davenport or have I miss something or miss understood?

Clubs will look to get those players on the cheap. I would say its will tough challenge for Kompany and he needs a sporting director will him and good experience number 2 with championship experience with him

Tomasson will work closely with Broughton on recruitment but his main focus is coaching the team. Leaving Broughton to find the players and bring in more recruitment staff. Tomasson as head coach won't need to focus on that or sort out personal for the medical or sport science department as Broughton will sort that. for Example, Tomasson will say he needs a pacey striker with high work rate and can press from the front so its Broughton with recruitment staff to find players for that position and then him and Tomasson will pick who they want from a shortlist of 4 or 5 players.
