I think our performances have been better than our league position but we only 6 points off last season points at this stage, so considering the overhaul of the squad this summer we aren't doing that bad. If we could finish around 10th to 12th this season then I think we had a good season

Communication shouldn't be a factor but based on results and performances. I like Ismael's open and honest approach to the media but its not a factor in judging him

Ayari quality was there to see. He needed to play. Sanderson is more than good championship centre back I have already said very clearly we need a centre back but I would moved Carter on and bring back O'Riordan to fill his spot. I think we need but also we have a couple of options that allow us to moved back to different formation if we need to. We should also have a Plan B in case Plan A doesn't work. I don't we should be such an overhaul of the forward area during a January transfer window. It will be more difficult to find 1 striker signing given most Championship will be looking at similar players. But you still doing an overhaul during a season which I wouldn't do. Move Pickering and Gueye fine but others, not for me and It is far too soon to write players Henriksson and Tavares at this stage. These players will be needed and lets see if they can step up now. so you keep saying time after time. 😴

They seem to moved away from last season winning formula. I also think they didn't need to sign Isak and Ekitike. Ekitike should be first choice tho given his form. Instead of spending so big on Isak, I would have look for number 6 player(defensive midfielder player, centre back and back up striker. Salah is massively off form and are they actually missing TAA.

Firstly, I don't know why whether you warm to him or not is even a factor in an opinion on Ismael or his media comments. Surely that should be non-issue. Its should be based on results and performances only. I think Ismael is doing well at the minute. The away form is very good and one of the best in the league, so he and the players deserved huge credit for that. The home form isn't good enough and we need to get better results whilst performances have been good tho. So that's need improving for me Is win record is better than Eustace record but Eustace has more points per game cos of more draws he had.

We added quality but not used it like Ayari who is now a PL regular with Brighton or last January when we signed Ribeiro or Sanderson. you aren't going to do a mini overhaul in the January like you want. Why not give players like Henriksson and Tavares a full season and review next summer, granted not every signing will be successful but give them a proper chance. Yes I would move Gueye on cos he isn't suited to how we play and Kargbo can be 1 off the 4 strikers for me. Look to bring in another striker but how many quality strikers are out there cos most Championship are looking for them. Will it be look at league 1 striker who can step up or look overseas for one. on the centre back problem. Carter's injury problems are a massive problem for Ismael and the club, cos he can't stay fit sadly. Good player on his day. Ismael has said that players were signed to play 4-2-3-1 formation in the summer, but results meant Ismael switch formation in order to pick up results and we are now winning games. The squad does need to re-justify in order to have another centre back option, back up for Alebiosu, and at least 1 more striker in the January. Players like Pickering and Ribeiro will probably leave either in the January window or next summer due to not playing and we aren't playing with left back. Gueye will leave due to not playing and Ismael not rating him We can't be signing 7 or 8 new players in January like you might want. We need to add 2 or 3 quality players in January that can help the team quickly. Priority should be right footed centre back, back up for Alebiosu and another striker? do you agree?

@ParsonblueI agree this team is nowhere as bad as people think. We will have plenty of ups and down given how many signings we made and from overseas. One of PNE's supporting Work colleague admitted a couple of weeks they are mid table team. They lack pace and quality striker and centre back to play in the centre of back 3. He isnt a fan of Heckingbottom either. 100%. Never like him.

I thought we didnt want to be too open or gift them loads of chances in the first 30 mins hence why we didnt attack too much. After that we dominated the game and were deserved winners. Sherwood's comments about Rovers's performance were spot on. Still cant believe Whiteman got away with that clear red card Still buzzing about the win and performance. My PNE's supporting work colleagues were full of praise for our performance and slamming their own team's performance.
