very good post and can I respect your choices you have made and how hard this decision is. Its not easy decision for anyone. The reasons I will continue to attend and not do a boycott are these, I have been going since August 1993 and I have been STH for over 25 years, I won't allow the owners to stop supporting my team. This is my main social activity with my bro and nephew. Plus my missus went through Cancer in the last 18 months and that told us, never stop enjoying life and doing the activities you enjoy doing cos none of us know how long we got in life. The players need support and backing from the fans. Can I please say again, I fully respect anyone decision who has decided to walked away, or boycott games. You failed to understand that we can only register 25 players and we are now at 25 players will O'Riordan being recalled and will be available from the 1st of January. So do we not register Carter or Wharton then? meaning we can't play them. What your plan RF99 Yes we need to get rid of players to bring players in and register them by end of the window. Looking at the back 3, we would move to Miller to right wing back position now, so that's leave us with these options McLoughlin, Pratt, Wharton, Carter and O'Riordan. Plus Litherland and Atcheson. So 1 centre back signing is more than tbh, any more is just wasting our money even if Carter would move on. I feel we actually play better with Pratt in the back then Ribeiro in there. Going forward, Rovers have decisions to make over the future off Gueye, Ribeiro, Pickering, TGH, De Neve and Tyjon before this window ends.

I can see totally your point but can we rely on Carter really. I like Pratt as part of the back 3. We seem better defensive and more organised when he plays as part of the back 3. Litherhand really interested me on Saturday and he could have scored within 3 minutes of his debut.

fair point. Its does suit us and we a better team with 2 up front now. I still would like the option of going 4-2-3-1 sometimes but the 3-5-2 formation seems a better fit for how we want to play but also Ismael. I like playing 2 strikers and Cantwell in the same team but we need to bring another striker in January plus another in the striker to give us 4 strikers and plenty of options.

Thanks for quality and well written reply @onlyonejackwalker Yes I know about the bender and McCullum has admitted the preparations weren't right but 4 warm up games seems excessive. 2 warm up games plus one in the middle of the series seems about right. Key has done interviews today with the media so we will what he says. People will be held accountable but we shouldn't be ripping everything up again cos we do it every time and nothing improved when we played down under last time result wise. Stokes should remain as Captain and Key as DoC but I would move McCullum on and keep him just as White Ball head coach. Can we not forget that we have brilliant wins under Stokes and McCullum including a number of good run chasers that the fans have been entertained and enjoyed. Bethell need to play in that role in county cricket and build his game. Not saying he not good enough but is it the right fit. For me, Pope and Duckett should be drop and go back to County cricket. I would stick with Crawley has an opener cos I ain't moving Brook from 5 at this stage but if he was to go at 5, where does Brook bat? I would look at Tom Haines or Ben McKinney to bat with Crawley. Crawley need to play the same way as the last inning now. If Stokes does move to 3, Then Jacks could back at 6 with Smith at 7. Look at the pace options, Is Archer going to want to continue to play test cricket? Wood is 35 and injured prone. So where is the future of the pace attack, Sonny Baker is supposedly a very fast bower so maybe it time to bring him through now to replace Wood. Atkinson should be our line and length bowler similar to Glenn McGrath type. Then we have pace bowlers like Sam Cook or Dillon Pennington or Matty Potts, Josh Tongue, Carse, Matthew Fisher, Nathan Gilchrist. Is Bashir our best spinner in the country? should Dawson have gone on Tour? Is Sussex's spinner Jack Carson the best in the county game. Plenty of questions to answer after this series has finished

what sweeping changes do you want to see? a new captain, head coach and director of cricket? new players? which players have impress you over the last year? I like to see Stokes remain as captain and Key as DoC but a new head coach. Is Bethall ready to be England number 3? who should opener with Crawley? what pace bowlers should be our future? when did this last happen? I can't see Australia cricket agreeing to that or England wanted that. 2 warm up games before the first test and a first class game between 3rd test and 4th test
