  1. I am proud to be English and I am every single day. I have English and British flag up in my house outside. My neighbour has English flag up every day.
  2. I would rather start him against Bournemouth if you wanted to start him in a game is a much better game.
  3. the under 23's is very different to a Championship game. Dack will be main part of our team next season but another 3 months of getting fit and being mentally right, hopefully he will be raring to go.
  4. Nyambe ain't here next season. Why not try Brown since the season is done. @Buttyhere is your answer Pickering was good in the first half of the season. He has been overall good signing Dack has said this himself. Wharton starts for me. Brown played professional football in Ireland.
  5. Johnson is for 4 games so we can interview and speak to 4 or 5 managers before decide who is the right man to take over. Given that some managers who I would want to interview are in promotion races we are unlikely to be granted permission to speak to them
  6. Why not Brown? Pickering played better when he played the full back role. Hes not a wing back but he has good overall season. Dack can't play more than 45 mins anyway. Can Ayala even play? is he even fit enough.
  7. Surely Lancashire's batsman Josh Bohannon is close to international test call up. Scored in 231 in the first innings. some good attacking shots by him.
  8. my team Kaminski Brown Lenihan Wharton Pickering Travis Johnson Hedges Buckley Brereton Diaz Gallagher
  9. Well they would sell their 2 main strikers but Brereton is set for PL or La Liga summer move.
  10. Look like Roy Hodgson won't save Watford from the dropping to the Championship. Same with Dean Smith at Norwich. Will be interesting to see how many of their good players they keep. 7 Eddie Howe has done a very good job at Newcastle
  11. I think Daniel Farke is a very realistic suggestion and one that would show ambition of the club for promotion within the next season. Other posters on here have said similar like @PeteJD13and it was original suggestion of @glen9mullanif I can remember correctly. Fair enough are we talking about Dyche? If so I think I stand by my opinion on it
  12. I was talking about Brereton actually. On Rothwell, I agree I would have sold him in January. I expected he will move to Bournemouth in the summer. Also you don't know they were fake rumours do you? we don't know the full facts do we?
  13. well I said more than he is just 'a dingle' tho didn't I? I have been more than open why I wouldn't be favour of Dyche but I don't get this obsess with him coming here that some of you have. I would rather have Daniel Farke who I think would suit our club much better. None of those players are coming here so your question is irrelevant. I rather focus on players who are realistic and achievable signings and transfer targets.
  14. depends on who they sell but if they do qualify for champions league will have money to spend I guess but I haven't got a clue about their financial situation. How many strikers do Watford need? If he does stay in England I think Brighton and Everton are the ones to watch tbh
  15. well he has been injured for most of it but also Mowbray tinkering and not adapting his starting formation and line up has cost us a top 6 even top 2 lace He should be replace by the money we received for him and There is a number of players I would be looking at to replace him with but alot of depends on who the next appointment in the manager is and whether its ambition appointment or low key appointment
  16. Stokes is set to become Test Captain if he can convince Rob Key that his mental health problems are over. For the coaching roles, Kirsten is interested in the Test Head coach job. Graham Ford and Paul Collingwood are contenders also. Plus Simon Katich also is a possible choice. Rob Key will also look at bringing back the National selector role Former India head coach Gary Kirsten keen on England Test job | England cricket team | The Guardian
  17. I think Ben Brereton will go to Sevilla in the summer and for around 20 million pounds. Rothwell is being linked with Bournemouth again and they will look to sign him in the summer, Bournemouth plot move to sign Blackburn Rovers star Rothwell - Source (footballinsider247.com) I think Nyambe will leave and if the a club like Watford is interest and he wants to move down South then fair enough. Lenihan, I can see him getting a better offer than us personally but I don't blame anyone for testing the water for better money
  18. what will Burnley do over the manager situation and should they leave Jackson in charge or appoint a new manager? what would you do @longsiders1882 @sympatheticclaret? Also what do you think of your club interest in Slavic Bilic and Carlos Carvalhal? Would you be happy with either of them?
  19. Rovers need to go positive and attack them from the start. Press from the front and close down much more than recent games. We can't keep clean sheet so lets attack.
  20. Why? His salary is more realistic for us then Dyche and I would prefer his style of football here and he has history of youth development which I see has key requirement for any appointment Dyche isn't realistic and I think he will end up at QPR in the summer. I don't ever see him getting another manager job where he has so much power over everything like he had at the dingles until the last 12 months. He will have to compromise his way of working. Yes I am fully aware of the Norwich way under Stuart Webber and Farke. It worked great for them and their structure is there. Rovers have good recruitment department but maybe Farke will want more control similar to a manager now. He will have a range of contacts he could bring into the club. Yes I have been in favour bringing in a Director of football/head coach structure here and I would still like to it under a proper director of football tho.
  21. Surely Suhail knows it time for a change of manager and staff now given this season failure. Last season failure should have cost Mowbray his job but I think he would blame Covid-19 for it I'm hoping your hunch comes time. We need a new manager who will attract fans back and show some ambition in the club. Plus a new CEO who can connect with the fanbase and understand our concerns. There is plenty of good experience footballing and business CEO around
  22. I said after the Peterborough game he needs to go now and I sack Venus, Benson and Lowe with him then appoint Damien Johnson as interim manager for the last 4 games.
