extremely surprised by Sheffield United appointing Heckingbottom on a such a lengthy contract and by some of comments from the press conference. It appears that the finances aren't healthy at all and Jokanovic wanted more players in January and I doubt they were willing to back him again. Plus I read an article on the Athletic website about this also. On the Heckingbottom appointment, Its a very strange one. I suspect he will be bringing through their young players from the academy whilst selling or release a few senior players in the coming months. Gav, Rothwell and Nyambe have been offered new improve contracts terms and talks have been going on for ages. But if they wont re-sign then what can you do? Brereton and Kaminski have 12 months club extensions clauses in their contracts.

All depends who might be sold or recall from loan. But we need a forward to replace Poveda whether it wide player of front 3 or main striker. We need to plan for replacing Brereton Diaz whether in January or next summer.

Good win tonight. Enjoyable on a cold night. Rothwell, Dolan and Wharton were the standouts tonight. Enjoy Pickering goal and it was another good quality cross by Buckley.

Given that most of the Toulouse games are the same time as Rovers games but Ive watched every game highlights on Youtube of Toulouse games each week. next year, we will have a better budget to sign players permanent and Healey would be player I would extensive scouting with a view to signing him in the summer. We need scouting players right now for next season regards who the manager/head coach is. not bothered by that at all. He is goalscorer and that what we are after.
