  1. Yes I supported Rovers cos My dad supported them and he took me to my first game which was in Bournemouth at Ewood Park in 1993.
  2. agreed totally It is the child choice and he picked that team cos it local club. His dad and mum both take him and he is enjoying supporting and enjoying football. Good luck to him. Can I ask Matty why you support Rovers and how did you involved in supporting Rovers(through your parents or family members for example)
  3. Possible Keeper signings Viktor Johansson from Rotherham, Has a release clause of £1m. Yes they would be alot of interest in him but I do think he is deffo worth trying to get him to sign here. Viktor Johansson 2023 ● Rotherham ► Best 22/23 EFL Championship Goalkeeper (youtube.com) Daniel Iverson from Leicester. I think he would cost £2m. Solid keeper, aged 26 years old. Daniel Iversen Highlights - YouTube Lee Nicholls from Huddersfield. Aged 31 years old and wouldn't cost alot of money and has plenty of experience of this league aswell Possible attacking midfielders players signings Koji Miyoshi from Birmingham. Can play the 10 role and wide roles. Would cost couple of millions. Eustace signed him for Birmingham last season. Some of his goals this season Video | Facebook Harvey Knibbs from Reading. Would cost £1m I think. can play wide left, number 10 role and up front. scored 11 goals this season for Reading and can press from the front. 4. Looking at the current squad for next season Keepers - Pears, Wahlstedt, Michalski RB - Brittain, Duru CB - Hyam, Carter, Wharton, O'Riordan, McFadzean LB - Pickering, Gent CM - JRC, Tronstad, Travis, Buckley, Garrett RW - Hedges, Markanday AM - Szmodics, Glisenan LW - Sigurdsson, Dolan CF - Vale, Leonard, Telalovic, Gallagher I would give new contracts to McFadzean(12 months contract), Dolan(new 3 year contract) and Gallagher (2 year contract) From the squad, I would sell Markanday(just doesn't enough for me and not show much this season), Vale(not good enough), Loan Telalovic and Wahlstedt to get regular first team football, Sort out Travis future whether he is staying or going. Would loan Leonard out to get regular first team football, rated him highly and I think he had a good overall season this season. Deffo one for the future for me. So for me we need a new keeper, back up right back, centre back, 2 strikers, another attacking midfielder and possible Szmodics replacement, maybe centre midfielder if Travis leaves.
  5. there is still alot of PNE fans not happy with Lowe as their manager and some would like a change. Seems a very much split fanbase towards Lowe. I think he has done good job there but I wouldn't say they should be making playoffs this season
  6. Yes very true that the fans who boycott over a decade ago have gone. spoke to 2 fans last week who used to come when we were in PL and were STH, but they haven't been back for years. They now have moved on to other things. One is into cycling and goes over the North of England cycling with his missus. The other one take his son take football club of another team cos that who wanted to support for different reasons. If Rovers don't make it more affordable for fans who are struggling financially but want to commit to ST. Rovers must it affordable for STH and single Match day goers with sensible and proactive pricing structure
  7. He mentioned his post match interview that we were doomed and losing games and conceded far too many games. He turned it around by making us hard to beat. Tough watch at times but we were never going to continue to play the same way under a different head coach. the defence needed sorted and he did. 5 clean sheets in the last 9 games and we off them against Leicester, Leeds and Southampton Great summary. That is probably what Eustace thoughts were when looking at the squad players outside 14 or 15 players. You can see this with his team selections and subs. No massive rotation. We know that in forward areas we need good signings this summer and good solid keeper signing. With a couple of defensive signings and 1 centre midfield signing. Our squad players need to move on cos they aren't good enough for what we want here
  8. Tronstad improve us. Sigurdsson and Moran 1st 3 and half months. Striker wise no we didn't. McFadzean at the back improve us.
  9. In his Radio Lancs interview he said 2 or 3 areas of the pitch. Hopefully keeper and forwards are at least 2 of them
  10. of course he will make signings and improve the squad. We made plenty of signings under HDT as head coach which he agreed to sign each and every one of those signings. JDT couldn't get a tune out of George Hirst last season but this season(last half of the previous season, Mckenna got him playing and being his number 1 striker.
  11. no one is using superfan rhetoric apart from you mentioning it
  12. basic common sense. It took JDT months to get his attacking plan over to the players and implementing into games. Eustace will do similar like he did at Birmingham over time and with his own signings This season was survival and getting back to basics, keeping clean sheets which he has done now against 3 of the top 4 teams in championship teams. He has the summer to shape his own squad and what he wants going forward (depending on budget)
  13. I want better than just survival next season. I am positive about every thing in life. positive mental attitude
  14. Main priority for me is goalscoring striker and number 1 keeper. Plus a back up right back cos for JRC is centre midfielder and I wanted him and Tronstad to be first choice centre midfielder partnership. I would give McFadzean another 12 months contract plus another centre back. I would look to back Ben Chrisene for next season. I would like to see pacey winger and if Szmodics is sold then we need a replacement for him who can press from the front and score goals. We need to decide Travis future and where Buckley fits into the team. I will provide some potentials player signings for each position mentioned who I feel would improve our squad tomorrow afternoon.
  15. keep positive at all times. I said we would stay and we did. People thought we were going down pre match
  16. Or buy a season ticket and support the team and head coach
  17. we will see more of attacking plan next season which in pre season he can get to work with the players he wants to keep and the signings he wants. The last 3 months was what Eustace said it was post match interview today
  18. or they say lets back Eustace and bring in some quality signings who will improve us.
  19. Owners aren't going anywhere so it mooted point tho I do agree. The commercial side of this club is very poor and no ambition to improve the commercial side of the club through better sponsorship for the Rovers shirt, sponsors around the ground, etc. GB and Eustace will sit next week I would have thought and decided what we need going forward.
  20. I thought the smiley face would give it away. I would deffo wat £20m for him. top league goalscorer and his peak years. Pay top dollar
  21. agreed there. Now Eustace need some financial backing and good transfer budget this summer to improve the squad and bring in his own players so we can play his style of football and get up that table A new CEO and Commercial head is deffo needed
