  1. Billy Sharp turned down moves to Forest and Celtic yesterday to stay at Sheffield United now..
  2. That's why I said in my opinion. Tho I don't think I'm far off tbh. We are never going to offering millions in wages to attract managers like Bilic or Bielsa..
  3. Did he not walk away from Coventry without a pay off?
  4. Kean was only on 1 million pounds as manager when he was here when we was in premier league club. But dropped to 600k per year when we dropped from Premier league to Championship season 2012/13 season. Here Is Nick Harris article on Kean's contract from October 2012 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2213963/Nick-Harris-Steve-Kean-turned-14-9m-Blackburn-deal.html I would say in my opinion Mowbray is on 600k basic plus bonuses. Leeds manager Bielsa is 6 million pounds per season.
  5. So nothing to back it up then? I'm sure Waggott would be involve in these decisions but the ultimate decision stay with them. It's their way they made business decisions
  6. But you say this but he actually bought an apartment in the Area so he is close to Brockhall training ground. Plus he been here 3 years now.
  7. You keep saying Mowbray got Waggott the job but Mowbray has said he had nothing to do with him. Can you back up what you claim? Waggott does run the club for them but sacking a manager is made at Ownership level? IMO, Preston don't have finances to make this happen
  8. Thanks Stuart. Did Mols play the 10 role or right wing?
  9. No he's not close to the sack at all. FFP is an issue for every club at this league. Leeds had to sell Jansson to bring in players this summer. Same at West Brom Someone mention Ryan Porteous from Hibs. What your views on him? The club has a budget and we have within the FFP requirements. We have some players who need to leave this window like Smallwood, Samuel, Hart. Rich Sharpe has tweet they will be a Smallwood story in tomorrow paper. Mowbray job is under threat from then Owners. Waggott can't sack Mowbray without the Owners authorisation just like it would be under any owner or even yourself if you owned the club
  10. Mowbray has said that Davenport and Samuel are with the 1st team squad until our injuries clear up I suspect both players will leave in January possible on loan Who stood out Stuart?
  11. QPR game been rearranged. Nothing to fear from any of those teams.
  12. Did I say otherwise? But he has wasted millions there on signings who haven't performed for him just like other managers And to think that Burnley fans were ringing and texting in to BBC Radio Lancs complaining about Dyche's appointment there. excellent suggestion
  13. years ago. you constantly linked Rhodes with Bolton and Wigan when Dougie Freedman and Coyle were at their clubs? never move there. you have suggested a tipping point a number of times before? did it ever happen my point was I dont see him under any threat of losing his job from the owners Dyche signed Ben Gibson for millions and never used much.
  14. Yes I did but then I did posted why I changed my view and explained myself. The amount of changes was due to injuries and fatigue. players like Evans who got injured twice over the Christmas period, Nyambe injury, Tosin injury, Graham unable to play so many games within a short period of time. Dack injury is unfortunate but injuries happen in football. Mowbray has to find a way to make the team win games. that's all that matters. Most managers tinker with their team match to match. I would say Mowbray has improve a number of players over his time here. Tho I do accept your point that you would like a change of manager at the club Thanks for watching the video. I think we are being more passing team despite Roversfan99 saying we have the second highest number of long ball played in games after Preston. Don't know where he gets his stats from but I posted 6 games match stats from Rovers official website I think it was @JoeH who suggested it was him, after @SkipDonoghue info that a German player was being show around Brpckhall last week
  15. Sadly with some members people cant change their mind or even accept people can change their mind. Sadly this is something you bring up with me even tho I came on the board and explain fully why I change my opinion. I shouldn't need to keep explaining it.
  16. Mercer you said this stuff all before and it never happens Mercer. Mowbray wont walk away from Rovers and very much his job is under no threat from the owners. My view and view of many away from this messsgeboard.
  17. Yes he right. We can complain and moan about past decisions or we can deal with present circumstances
  18. Would reply but mashed potatoes have reply what I would have reply
  19. What he doing there? Shopping?
  20. It appear that we have only have European scouting network for about 9 months now. We appointed an European based scout now after advertising for one in Seotember. You got to allow to develop and see. We tried for 2 European based keepers last summer. We appear to close to signing Schmidt on loan.
  21. Good keeper. Bialkowski likely to be on sensible wages and very experience at this level
  22. Brilliant hundred fir Sibley. Delighted for him. Really enjoyed listening to Graham Thorpe this morning
