  1. BBC has Rob Styles as the referee for this one. Hope they're right.
  2. I blame them for not rebuilding Ewood with a retractable roof and heated seats.
  3. Sky Sports News has just reported that there's a pitch inspection at Ewood at 6:00pm. So much for under-soil heating!
  4. I remember this game and Best did play. It was on 14th May, 1977.
  5. Nice one Lee - I was just going to recommend Zen (again) but you beat me to it. I've used them personally & professionally for almost 8 years with barely a sniff of a problem.
  6. The Bush Family Summer Vacation 2005
  7. Looks like Richie Benaud's going to miss out on one last session.
  8. What's the earliest time Ponting can admit defeat and agree on a draw?
  9. Relax Flopsy - the Convicts aren't even going to have a bat today!
  10. Type the word "failure" into Google, but hit the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button instead of "Google Search"!
  11. Check out this awesome pre- & post-hurricane photo gallery created by a (former) New Orleans resident - Click Me.
  12. Flopsy, you forgot : 8) More rain
  13. BREAKING NEWS ....... Sven Goran Erikkson has been sacked! Carlsberg don't do the sports news, but if they did, it would probably be the best sports news in the world.
  14. Take a look at the highlights Rev and you'll see that Savage's and (both) Neill's bookings were correct calls by the referee. In each instance the Rovers player was miles from actually touching the ball.
  15. Just seen the highlights on Match of the Day and they cleared up a couple of incidents that weren't overly obvious from where I was sat in Ewood tonight. Lucas Neill deserved his 2nd red card and could maybe have had a straight red given the new tackling interpretation this season (i.e. endangering an opponent). As for the off-the-ball incident, Andy Reid of Spurs was head butted by a Rovers player. MOTD said it was Stephen Reid, but it was definitely Andy Todd. He can now expect at least a 3 game ban to be handed out when it's analysed by the FA. When will they ever learn?
  16. Excellent, AS ..... BRING IT ON!!!
  17. What a fantastic day yesterday at Old Trafford. We were sat 10 yards to the right of the giant screen (as you look at it), 5 rows from the back, slap bang in the middle of the Barmy Army. What an atmosphere! And rather than being for a couple of hours like the footie, it lasted all day. We could really do to borrow Jimmy "You've Only Got One Song" Saville and the trumpeter for all games at Ewood Park. If you get the chance, break the bank and attend one of these games while you can.
  18. 1. Chelsea 2. Arsenal 3. ManUre 4. Liverpool 5. Middlesbrough 6. Tottenham 7. Everton 8. Blackburn 9. Aston Villa 10. Bolton 11. Man City 12. Newcastle 13. Charlton 14. Birmingham 15. Fulham 16. West Brom 17. West Ham 18. Sunderland 19. Wigan 20. Portsmouth
  19. I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for tomorrow. We'll be sat opposite the pavillion in the Thwaites Beers Stand - block G, row 35, seats 96 & 97. No Rovers shirt though - England attire is mandatory on these occasions! So, here's to watching Freddie go a long way to sending the convicts packing!
  20. PABBY's Dingle Haters are looking to improve on last season's 7th place. Watch out!
  21. First game was v Colchester 1974/75, though I don't remember anything about it. First season ticket was 1980/81 and I've had one ever since. Last home league game missed was v Portsmouth 1975/76 (lost 3-0) and I've only missed one home game of any kind since then v Ipswich in the FA Cup in January 1996. My claim-to-infammy in the PABBY clan is that I've never missed a Rovers home game due to any family wedding! I'm definitely mellowing a bit though and have now booked holidays for both October this year and next year, so I'll doubtless miss at least a couple of games. It will hurt knowing that Rovers are playing at Ewood and I'm not there, but I no longer feel the same devotion to the cause as I once did and the family are at last going to come first.
