  1. Assuming BBD has made it back to the UK in time, I'd be very surprised not to see him on the bench (at least)
  2. Asleep for the first 5mins, lucky not to be behind but improving now....
  3. Option to watch the game is now there on Rovers TV ....nothing like leaving it until the last minute...
  4. Can't find anything on the website at the moment about watching the Huddersfield game tomorrow night .... unless I'm missing something ? (It is available on iFollow via Huddersfield's website - so will get it that way if necessary)
  5. Picture quality is fine, but commentary is a couple of seconds behind
  6. Hampshire press reporting a bid from Southampton has been accepted ... "The total package Saints will pay for the player will not rise beyond £15million" https://www.hampshirelive.news/sport/football/transfer-news/breaking-southampton-blackburn-adam-armstrong-5759743
  7. Don't expect anything to happen - but TM has looked, and sounded, like a man desperate to be sacked for weeks now ....
  8. Completely disinterested and expecting nothing. Will I watch it on iPlayer ? ....................... probably
  9. Preben "Benny" Arentoft ...... 1971-74 ( Tugay and Friedel really, obviously)
  10. We give away far too many soft penalties.... and usually it's Lenihan
  11. At least being on Sky we will get a proper commentary, and not have to listen to the two muppets on iFollow
  12. Finally had to mute the two idiot commentators last night - constant moaning and winging about the referee over and over throughout the game ....Ok, we all know they aren't great and some decisions are dodgy, but get over it and talk about the football.
  13. No optimism for this one, and not really that bothered. More possession and sideways and backwards passing, then a soft goal given away followed by five weird substitutions with no apparent plan. Will I decide to pay £10 to watch in iFollow ........................probably
  14. If he doesn't go today, by being pushed or jumping, then I think we can be pretty confident he isn't going anywhere before the end of the season.
  15. I'm teaching an evening class on Zoom this Wed, and when I agreed to do it some months ago ( when we were playing well) I remember how annoyed I was when I checked the fixtures and realised I'd miss this game. Strangely I'm not that bothered now....
  16. Even allowing for the awful weather/pitch conditions - last night was dreadful - clueless and lacking any sign of a game plan. He's had his time - we need a change desperately.
  17. I've paid my £10 for my son and I to watch (again) .... not expecting anything more than another random shuffle of the squad with no apparent tactical reasoning. In the 2nd half of the Preston game we both said we had absolutely no idea what system we were playing and who was supposed to be doing what, but then I don't think the players did either. On a positive note, hopefully their pitch will be Ok and allow some passing football - the appalling state of Ewood has been a big factor in our season downturn after the good start - early season games at home, and in some away games, we were much more effective because of the better surfaces. Anything other than a miserable loss will be a pleasant surprise.
  18. Given the state of the pitch on Saturday and the appalling weather forecast, I think I'll delay paying my £10 to iFollow until this evening ......
  19. It is no doubt going to have a lasting effect on football viewing and attendance. For me, having moved south in the early 1980s I still used to attend a few home games every year whilst visiting family, but as they have died/moved away from Blackburn it is now a long time since I visited Ewood and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. My watching Rover's "live" has been restricted to a few away games each season. This year - I've paid my £10 to iFollow and managed to watch every Rovers game (bar one) live, home and away, which I've really enjoyed despite some of the results recently. If there was a digital season ticket introduced so that could continue in future I'd be happy to sign up.
  20. Yes - a red title page with music playing (no Ewood images as yet)
