  1. Another result ground out in a way we haven't done for a very long time .....a really important win. Thought the defence, especially Lenihan were outstanding - and Gallagher worked hard (as he usually does) and got a winner from nowhere. Travis made a huge difference in midfield. Johnson was absent for most of the first half, but improved later on. Edun - I think shows some promise, but was outclassed too many times by a very good player against him especially in the second half. He looks much happier going forward but when defending he really shows his inexperience ( should have cost us a penalty) , and our performances have definitely dipped without Pickering. But at the moment I don't see an alternative. Liked the look of Zeefuik in the few minutes we saw.
  2. I would have played BBD if he was available, but agree he has been poor and looked tired in the last few games. Hopefully a trip to see his Chilean mates will get him firing again.
  3. A work commitment meant this was the first game I hadn't been able to watch for quite a while - managed to see the last 20mins, but from that I was glad to have missed the rest. But we haven't really played well for a couple of games now and this was coming. On to the next one.
  4. Me too ....and I actually saw all the game except for the last couple of minutes (when RoversTV kicked me out). Must have decided to just issue refunds to everyone.
  5. Quite glad RoversTV kicked me out in injury time and I couldn't get back in ..... too stressful watching most of that. V poor performance, but a win. Kaminski saved us when it mattered. Felt a bit sorry for Gallagher ...looked OK when he came on and was helping us get forward more, but then got marooned alone up front a few minutes later when Nyambe went off.
  6. Odd game ...good start, good goal and then struggling since
  7. RoversTV has been OK for me too...but I did log in a bit earlier than usual
  8. Pears to be the hero of the penalty shootout ......?
  9. Sad, but true. My grandfather was at Wembley in 1928, and my father in 1960 - I'd really love to get to see Rovers play in an FA Cup final in my lifetime, but it is very much a non-priority for most managers these days. Understandable for a club in our current position.
  10. Much as I care very much about our FA Cup runs and would love to see us progress, I think we will see as few of the settled first team players as TM can get away with involved in this...... I expect starts for Pears, Carter, Ayala, Magloire, Johnson, Davenport, Butterworth, Gallagher, Dolan and maybe even a couple of the other U23s involved.
  11. Used the NOW TV 24hr pass a couple of times to watch Rovers - works very well ... if you time it right and are lucky with the fixtures you can watch a few other Sky games too for your tenner.
  12. I'm worryingly confident about this one (unless our settled starting line-up gets ravaged by +ve Covid tests) .... a 3-0 win for us.
  13. Bournemouth just lost again (at Middlesbrough)
  14. Kaminski back in, no Dolan
  15. My son is married into a Birmingham supporting family, so this one always has a little bit of extra edge - but feel confident (3-1)
  16. Good result - stupid time wasting cost us yellow cards and 7mins to hold on for, but overall happy. BBD looked tired ...
  17. They were both wasting time .... now 7mins added on Ref was warning them from about 50mins on
  18. He made a good save low to his left just before we scored ...stayed down holding his left side/hip ....carried on for a few minutes but now gone off.
  19. Not listed on RoversTV (yet...) but it is available through the Peterborough site. https://www.theposh.com/video/packages Judging by previous games it may appear on Rovers TV later today.
  20. The 2nd half has to be better than that was.........(trying to be positive)
  21. Worst I can remember (at home)
