  1. It’s quite telling that nearly 24 hours on, no one at the club has bothered to respond to the letter.
  2. Some of these journalists need to get out to Pune and knock on their front door, Watchdog style.
  3. I’ve stopped myself from saying this up until now, but if you’re still going and giving them your money after this statement, you’re part of the problem. You’re supporting Venky’s. People who’ve bought season tickets are obviously in a sticky situation with this, BUT imo have a duty not to use them. #NAPM
  4. Today’s words of wisdom from one of Venky’s pages… #OperationEmptyEwood #SellTheClub
  5. A good idea, but there are many people, like me, who refuse to step foot inside Ewood, until they’re gone.
  6. No, but nor is encouraging everyone onto the playing surface and breaking the law. The lack of ticket sales are obviously hurting the finances of the club. Every other post on the club’s social media pages are about buying tickets or merchandise. Mods- is there a chance we can have a vote on the matter about the best course of action? It might give the coalition an idea of how to proceed with the next protest.
  7. Agreement with me Chaddy on this one. I want them gone as much as the next person. Are they worth losing a job and getting a criminal record over though? Absolute not. They’ll have won if that happens.
  8. IMO, it’s time a boycott was called for the Millwall game. It doesn’t break the law and it’s not offensive, if the protest’s aim is simply to get Venky’s to sell the club. Non-law breaking activities are likely to get people on board too. We’re on Sky Sports too (as it’s a 12:30 game) so we’ll be already down on fan numbers. We’ll get the publicity too.
  9. Very well put! Please can this be put on the Facebook page too? Albeit it privately, I think there needs to be a timeframe put on a calling for an official boycott, if concerns aren’t addressed. I don’t think it should be too far off either. Should that happen, I think they’ll walk away.
  10. Does anyone else feel like the dam’s about to finally burst? Suhail’s supposedly nowhere to be seen. Bob Coar’s apparently running the club. League attendances are unofficially down to around 6000 with an unofficial boycott clearly happening. The club releasing a video asking people to stop saying nasty things. Venky’s no longer sending funding over. I hope I’m right.

  12. I don’t think the fanbase are though completely. You only have to look at attendances since they took over. Like myself, many new refuse to go to Ewood. Something like an #EmptyEwood campaign doesn’t have to be offensive. It just needs to say that we- as supporters- refuse to return to Ewood until Venky’s sell the club. If you take attendances into consideration, over their ownership period, we’re about 2/5 or 3/5 of the way there already. On another note, how many home games did it take Sheff Weds to shift their owner doing that?
  13. I was like yourself until summer. When Eustace walked, that was my signal to boycott and not renew my season ticket. If the stadium gets emptied, Suhail WILL have to ask for more money. At that point, Mrs Desai might wonder what’s going on.
  14. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- the only way to make your voice heard is to stop buying anything off them. Until Ewood is completely empty for a couple of matches, they won’t listen. If it’s completely empty, the penny might finally drop in India, that they’re not wanted. #NAPMuntilVenkysGo
  15. Absolutely embarrassing! I hope the EFL come down on the club hard. I don’t think the River Darwen’s that high either, so they can’t blame it on that again.
  16. Bump! A great win, but they still need to sell up! One wonders where we’d be if half the squad hadn’t have been flogged in summer. #SellTheClub
  17. … and this is why we have to educate people. Education, education, education as a politician once said. I think that if people can see an alternative, they’ll soon start changing their mindset.
  18. I should be in there, but I refuse to set foot inside Ewood until they’re gone. I won’t be the only one like that either. #NAPMuntilVenkysGo
  19. That’s in Glenn and Duncan’s court, imo. They look like they’re spearheading something sound behind the scenes. Whatever it is, we all need to get behind and be one unified protest movement.
  20. On X this morning. If we’re going to get Venky’s to leave, we need to educate people. Too many people still feel no one would buy us. Nice to see Glenn and Duncan taking the steps too to get them to leave- well done chaps!
  21. All this is making me wonder why we aren’t doing an official boycott. I think one big push would get them out the door. Attendances are pretty close to that level already. If those attending realised that we could move Venky’s on, I’m sure they’d stop going. For the love of God, someone please call a boycott and force our owners to go.
  22. The only club below us in the table are a club in administration.
