  1. Whilst I agree with some of what you’re saying, I disagree about the Bury case. Who’s going to come in and pick up the near £300 million debt, if they walk?
  2. During those early years when the protests were at their height, when the world’s media was focusing on them, they didn’t budge. We’re at a stage now were half as many people turn up at Ewood for home matches, and we’re no longer shown around the world, due to being outside the top flight… meaning that protest against them, when playing against a Championship side, is unlikely to come anywhere near what they were up against all those years ago. I’ll probably get shot down for saying this, but Venky’s are keeping the club afloat. We owe them close to £300 million. If they pull the plug, we’re done for. As upsetting as the back of this week has been, it’ll be nothing compared to us becoming another Bury. The problem for me is, like it always has been, the people who are in charge of their money, over here.
  3. For me, it’s Waggot that this has to be aimed at. He’s the clown pulling the strings and advising the owners. He’ll be at the ground too, on Monday, when the cameras are there for Sky.
  4. Does anyone know his salary? Would I be wrong in saying there must be a few well off business minded supporters (with the right experience), who’d do it for free?
  5. Absolutely! The man’s an absolute disgrace.
  6. For me, the football has been dire. Whilst I’m a season ticket holder, I’ve missed several games this season. JDT’s brand is dire to watch. The other big thing for me is knowing that the clubs that come down, are almost automatically guaranteed a return to the top flight, with the TV money they’ve received for finishing in the bottom 3. They can retain a top flight team without any financial worries. Fulham are a prime example of this, last season. You only have to look at the current top 6 Championship sides to realise this too. … and if by some minor miracle we defy the odds and go back up, how much would be needed to remain there? £200 million?
  7. That second half proves JDT’s out of his depth and doesn’t have a clue. He’s got to go.
  8. HT Summary I think we’ve played well, apart from in the final third. Dack’s roaming around in a free role, dictating the play. It’s a lot more pleasing to watch than the laboured dross we usually serve up. Questions need to be asked about Gally though- he’s been poor.
  9. An incredibly boring 1-0 win. Having said that, Dack looks like what we’ve be missing.
  10. Look at the small period when we finally put Sunderland under some pressure. Dack was the one linking up the play and bringing in others around him. Countless others on here noticed it too.
  11. It’s because we’re abysmal to watch. My dad fell asleep watching us against Sunderland. I have a season ticket which is probably going to stay in the draw tomorrow, as things stand. I’d rather watch the borefest in the warm.
  12. Dack wasn’t in the game? Out of anyone in the front line, he was the best. Just as he got going, he got hooked. That says to me, JDT doesn’t have a clue.
  13. I think you’re being a bit harsh on Hurst there. Like Diaz and Gallagher, the lad’s isolated with the system he’s put into. He’s no chance when we’re averaging about 1 shot a game.
  14. Bang on! I’ve seen comments on here about Diaz and Gallagher. I’m not sure what they’re meant to do when they have no service. Diaz was worth £20 million at least, last year. In this system? £10 million max.
  15. I can remember sitting through the odd boring game under Mowbray. Not months of it though. We are absolutely awful to watch. JDT has managed to starve a £20 million striker with the most negative brand of football, I’ve ever seen.
  16. Absolute snooze fest this! Goal expected said it all: 0.04 was it?
  17. Wishful thinking- we’re off to park the bus tomorrow, and serve up another hammering, without leaving our own half. Prove me wrong JDT!
  18. Hoping to grind out a 1-0 win (feels like we’ve Big Sam in charge again, writing that), but I think we’ll get a hammering tomorrow. I’ll be honest, I’ve not felt as apathetic to watching us since we went bottom of League 1, under Tony Mowbray though, after defeat at home to Doncaster. Since Saturday evening, I’ve ignored every Championship result and haven’t looked at the table.
  19. I’ve just about calmed down after Saturday. We are absolutely awful to watch, even when we win. It’s all about not losing and sticking 11 men behind the ball. It reminds me of when Allardyce was in charge. Paying £50 a month to watch us having 1 shot on target for a full game and defend for the rest of it, is not something I’ll be doing next season. I’ll be blunt here: if he’s still here in summer, my season ticket won’t be being renewed because there is absolutely no enjoyment in going to Ewood currently. Say what you want about Mowbray, but at least we gave it a shot under him.
  20. Absolute rubbish- Mowbray’s been gone for months. This is on JDT. As a season ticket holder, we’ve been absolutely abysmal to watch most of this season. 2 of those goals today have come from JDT’s style of fannying around with it at the back.
  21. For anyone who’s watched us regularly this season, this has been coming for a long time.
  22. Allardyce special needed for me next week. Gallagher, Diaz and Hurst upfront, and spend the week on corners and high balls into the box. They’re beatable on what I’m seeing here.
  23. Just watching it- their backline don’t look great under pressure and with high balls.
  24. You’re not far wrong from what you’ve seen. As a season ticket holder, I think you’re bang on with your summary.
  25. I was absolutely baffled by the Hurst sub. He looked our main threat. Bang on about Mowbray too- he’s long gone, so is about half the team from last season too.
