  1. I’m going to stick my neck out and say the title of this chat needs to be renamed: ‘How to Remove Venky’s and Waggot’. The asset stripping clowns need to be gone.
  2. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24461091.blackburn-rovers-gambling-volatile-market-timer-ticks/ Interesting article showing how poor of a situation we find ourselves in, because of our board and owners.
  3. The time for action is now or never. Having read today’s Lancashire Telegraph article (link below), the money from the Wharton sale is being used to keep the lights on. I highly suspected that, but now that article has confirmed it today. Somebody please take the lead and organise a meeting on Zoom, to coordinate some kind of action with real impact. If it’s not done, we’re going to be sat in this situation for another 12 years, probably in League 2. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24460184.transfers-venkys-blackburn-questions-answered/
  4. I renewed my season ticket, at the end very end of the first deadline, on a pay monthly basis. I did so because I wanted the option to change my mind, if Waggot’s (and the lot above’s) piss poor leadership of the club continued. I’ll be blunt- if we don’t spend some of that Wharton money within the 14 day cooling off period, I’ll be knocking it on the head. I’m not paying my hard earned cash to watch us be run into ground by Waggot and the lot above.
  5. Sorry if this has already been said, but what’s the deadline for keeping your seat? I want to see if we sign anyone half decent before parting with my hard earned cash.
  6. Reasonable pricing, but would have happily paid the same again, if it meant we actually got some decent players through the door. Only time will tell as to whether this has meant a cut in the transfer budget.
  7. Disagree- addressing the keeper crisis should be top of that list. Pears and stick insect need moving on, after costing us multiple points this season.
  8. Edit- this is what I think’s happened I’m not claiming to be in an ITK account, either because they’re usually bobbins. GB has told Waggot we need to spend some money, to avoid a repeat of this season. Waggot has told him no, and told him to walk if he’s not on board, with playing the youth team and selling them. Waggot has told Venky’s they don’t need to spend a penny (again), and the Armstrong, Wharton, Raya and Szmodics money will keep the club afloat. The owners have lapped it up, because he’s reducing their losses and they don’t have a clue what’s going on here. Result? A squad that’s not up to the level we’re playing at. When are we- the supporters of this club- going to remove Waggot?
  9. The Armstrong and Wharton money needs investing. We must be well within the limits of FFP having spent about 20p during the last few seasons. Failure to invest is seeing us dropping into League 2. This squad isn’t good enough for the Championship, as it stands.
  10. On that last point- I sat in the JW stand for the game against Preston, early on in the season. We were slightly closer to the PNE fans, and they drowned out the home fans I couldn’t hear the Blackburn End, where my season ticket is. It needs looking at. We simply roll over for any club willing to fill the Darwen End, and let them turn it into a home game, because they’ve fans happy to pay £X. It’s nothing shorting embarrassing if truth be told. Ewood should be a fortress and because of that, the Darwen End upstairs only should be the only part being used to house away fans.

  12. He’s a terrible loser. He’s always thought he’s better than what he is. That video -prior to a JDT masterclass at Swansea- said it all when he was going in about us eventually stopping running. I think we won 3-0 that day? In some respects, I hope he takes them up, because they’ll get an absolute pasting with their style of play, and his post match interviews will be hilarious. With how quiet their fans were today too, it shows how riveting their style of play is. I’m not sure I remember a quieter away end at Ewood?
  13. Another hard fought point, that would have been 3 on another day. This John Eustace team reminds me of the early days of the Hughes period- not exactly gifted, but willing to die to get points on the board. Time for another bev 👍
  14. Someone needs to get a grip of this and lead a unified effort, before we’re in the same state as Reading. I’ve personally not stepped foot inside Ewood since JDT left. I suspect others are the same. Alarm bells need to be ringing now though. Can we get a meeting organised asap on Zoom, and get a committee in place, to put together some coordinated action?
  15. I’ve just heard Pears is out on Saturday, which means Leo’s in goal. If that’s the case, I’ll be going to the pub instead of Ewood.
  16. Well done Smod! Pears is going to be difference between us staying up and going down.
  17. We’ve gone full circle in playing style here. This has been like watching paint dry for long periods. It reminds me of the Allardyce days, without the threat of set pieces.
  18. Call them every name under the sun then, and see where that gets us… The common enemy here isn’t Rovers fans, it’s the clowns running the club.
  19. I suggested that on another post, we have several working parties, focusing on different roles, in order to spread the workload. Full credit to those lads too, but we need to learn from those protests- what worked well and what wasn’t worth the effort.
  20. I agree about the above Without meaning to sound offensive, as fans (me included), we just look like a bunch of angry keyboard warriors. It’s crying out for someone to take the lead and direct. I’m hoping the above Facebook group- which I’ve joined- does that.
  21. From my perspective, rather than laughing at these fans (some of which are completely barmy, admittedly), we need to try and educate them, if we’re going to get rid of the clowns running the club. It’s vital, that in times like this, we’re a unified voice, to be as effective as possible.
  22. Lots of different groups appearing here. We need one unified group to be as effective as possible. Without wanting to sound picky too, people running the social media events/ groups/ pages, need to be literate, so that we’re taken seriously. Joined Time to use this publicity and get the protest movement up and running.
  23. Ideally, we need to set up a meeting on Zoom or in a pub, to coordinate unified action. From that, I’d propose setting up different working groups. Group 1- Focus on protests at Ewood and away games on match days. Group 2- Focus on internet based protests, such as commenting on Venky’s social media pages. Group 3- Focus on applying on pressure The FA Group 4- Focus on digging into Venky’s in India and why they still keep hold of us. You get the picture, but we need to get organised.
  24. Good idea. I asked this yesterday (and I’ve not had a reply notification to my post), but has a committee been set up yet to get all these great ideas off the ground? It’s fine expressing our disapproval on here and other social media forms, but we need concrete action to start putting some proper pressure on Waggot and the clowns running the club.
  25. This morning’s post from our lovely owners.
