  1. Happy days. Can't stand the current incumbents but it's still great to get a win on the opening day!
  2. There will be a lot lower than that this season.
  3. Don't believe for one minute we are getting anywhere near £20 mil for Armstrong. Personally, I'd snap any team offering a decent player/prospect as a makeweight (like the 2 lads mentioned) in the deal - as we know we won't see another player arrive permanently if we get just cash.
  4. Perhaps take one at the end of the season. This next 12 months may finally be an eye opener for some.
  5. At least we're nearing the end of the 'journey'. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  6. Better going forward since the subs.
  7. The lad Afolayan has been a real handful.
  8. Come on Mercer. We all know that Rovers will always hand a covid hit, managerless team 3 PTS, regardless of the position they are in.
  9. Every credit to Mowbray. I didn't think it was possible to come up with a more defensive, ineffective attacking system than last year. Hats off though, he's done it.
  10. Following Wham day yesterday, are we on Fleetwood Mac today? Perfect thread to tell some sweet little lies.
  11. Care to elaborate? Are we talking lifetime contract for Tony.
  12. That pretty much sums up where I am. My candle for Rovers has all but diminished but there is a tiny wick which hopes to be re-ignited. Though it grows smaller with every passing year of Venkys reign.
  13. Pre season or not, the fact we can't shift anywhere near 1500 tickets for Bolton away shows the level of apathy/disengagement the fans feel.
  14. Let's see if he actually does anything at WBA. Kipre didn't set the world on fire.
  15. Absoloutely. That aside, the only focus from the club should be to get the decent lads we have signed up long term. Don't waste the money on loans, use it to up the contract offers.
  16. If he's now seen the 'bigger picture' stated in that article then he will absoloutely walk away on a free in 12 months.
  17. Think this advert, whilst browsing this thread, couldn't have put it better.
  18. I'm saying that it's a shame he doesn't have the moral decency to quit like Lambert did. Another black mark that he's prepared to accept it. I want him out of the club as soon as!
