Was reading an article about Granada's manager (Diego Martinez). He took them from Segunda division, to 7th in Primera league. They play Manure in the UEFA quarter final tonight. The article is on the BBC sport website. This quote is caught my eye. It's what TM doesn't get. This is the type of managerial outlook we need. "I have always believed every team should be like a made-to-measure suit," explains Martinez. "Yes, I have my ideas and I can prepare the team in different ways, but the most important thing is the players you have at your disposal and to work out what we need to do to get the most out of what we have available."

So sad for Dack. If that's his other knee gone, his career at a higher level has pretty much gone with it. On another note, the lack of player consistency is infuriating. No doubt this is down to the constant chopping and changing/pissing around with tactics and positions but not one player can put 2 or 3 decent, consecutive performances together.

It was the right move but let's hope he was well insured.
