That save could be huge, exactly what Walton needed
-
And also assuming the club get the pies and beer for free
-
I’ve realised who Johnson reminds me of. Its Jermaine Jones, full of energy throwing himself into tackles, you accept a fair share of bookings will come his way as part of the package
-
Found this tweet interesting: Spurs new stadium stays open after the game, people genuinely seem to stay around having a beer and socialising there
-
Not to dwell on a negative but Walton was lucky today for that one he came and missed
-
Second half created a few good chances, Buckley set one up for Rothwell and had a good chance himself that he skied A move towards the end of the game was glorious but a block came in Better signs for sure
-
Huddersfield manager beat him to it
-
Superb win, real shift put in; we crumbled for a while and then regained composure. Gallagher was superb and the backing from the stands was, fully behind them and picked them up when they got leggy
-
Would have left DG on but he was tiring
-
Downing been class again
-
Really bad tackle from Johnson there, yellow card
-
Much better this, ref gone very card happy though both full backs booked
-
And another
-
Within two minutes Bennett launches a sensational counter attack......for them
-
I wouldn’t say he’s far from the problem when he cost us a goal and would have cost us another if not for poor finishing in our first game
-
TM: "Our opening games are seeing us come up against teams with ambitions to be at the top end of the table this season. It's tough run of games but we're looking forward to them because it gives us an idea of where we should expect to be." We played Charlton at home Tony, where’s our own ambitions?
-
More anecdotal evidence but I’ve seen more folk on twitter losing patience with him. His comments post game last night haven’t gone down well
-
What’s interesting is that if you went on a Boro forum a lot of the discussion will be the same. Two teams desperate to end a bad start and get on the board. Get an early goal and I think it will be comfortable (at least until we make it nervy in the last 10) however a nervy start could see a bore draw play out
-
I’ve written Mowbray off before and immediately looked daft on the back of it. However something seems amiss at the moment, feels there’s a bit of a rot set in, the window clearly didn’t go as planned and you could see the crowd turning if we have a bad run. Against Charlton around me there was a lot of comments about him losing the plot with his subs etc

Did Smallwood have a bit of a strop when he got brought off? Saw on twitter something about it

Tosin is injured and out for the weekend apparently So that’s 2 cb’s injured and 2 loaned out leaving no actual recognised central defenders with league experience
-
Glad to hear Grayson did ok because he was awful for that second goal
-
Danny Graham is like that old big bloke in every Sunday league team, you think he’s not much to look at but has a brain beyond the rest of them and just keeps producing, those knock downs are beyond what the rest of them can do
-
Sounds like Dack and Graham together is the magic formula That knock down front DG for the third goal is something none of our other players have in them
