  1. But that decision last night was correct, he was onside whether by an inch or a foot it was a correct call to overrule the linesman. Difficult where to draw a line on this really
  2. Yep a friend just pointed out to me that now any time a player is flagged off he's going to go and try and finish to make a case The old adage 'play to the whistle' may not ring true
  3. Offside overruled and goal given via VAR Took a while as it was a close one but the outcome was correct
  4. He's wrong, I was explicitly told on here that he won't be used out wide. He looks well suited to that role for me, yesterday it almost felt like we had Chapman back when he came on, really useful to be able to stretch the opposition with some pace.
  5. Are we rewriting history about Joao now? Sure there was a photo of him and Emnes sat like naughty schoolboys for turning up late but he was decent for us, got a couple of late goals that could have been vital had things been ever so slightly different. Armstrong played out wide at least initially today, I think it's where he's most likely to feature and thought so since he signed
  6. Hartlepool need £200k to survive Danny Graham just donated £2.5k
  7. I thought it was the guy that presents Pointless, kind of disappointed to learn it's not.
  8. Ah misread a tweet I thought it was odd that a game at Ewood would be off due to a frozen pitch
  9. Surprised to see the under 18s called off, was meant to be at Ewood but frozen pitch
  10. Their approach to the game that day was brilliant, thought he was destined to be a success I actually don't think there's that many consistently good managers around some managers just work really well at some clubs and not others
  11. Brilliant insight, my lad isn't showing an interest in football at present (he's 6 and enjoying Beavers at the moment having had various flits with gymnastics and jujitsu) but the effort you guys put in is a credit to you. You are more committed and patient than I could ever be
  12. Sam Gallagher got a goal and a red card today, not going well for him this season Him and our Jason looking at back to back relegations.
  13. Not surprised Rhodes got a bit of a kicking he had fallen over 12 times before that when anyone went close to him, Rhodes did well to wind Bennett up he just got unlucky that the end result wasn't seen by anyone. Should have brought Joao on alongside Rhodes rather than in place of him
  14. Highlights http://www.skysports.com/football/peterboro-vs-blackburn/report/375419 Love that after the third goal they are all bouncing around like excited puppies
  15. Wow had no idea Hanley was at Norwich, is that a loan?
  16. Bloody Shrews, by far the worst of the Eulipotyphla form of mammals!
  17. Don't want to stay here but this season is more enjoyable than the last few! Im still expecting a twitchy end to the game
  18. This bloke is ridiculous, profilic! AND HIM!
  19. Evans off Tomlinson on. Corry did well to last 15 mins fair play to him, warrior!
  20. I'm not and if he isn't performing he should be brought off, fact is though he was dropped after his red card, eventually got a chance from the bench and changed the game including a goal, didn't get on in the next win and then in his next start scored 2. He's right to have been given a chance to earn the shirt.
  21. Yep he should be punished for scoring against Crewe ?
  22. Samuel scored two goals last Sunday when he had a start, and a goal from the bench before that, well earned a chance
