  1. I have, not sure about him.
  2. Blimey, Anna bloody Trybull.....no wonder he's 'injury prone'
  3. "Ellie, why the long face?"
  4. Too slow to play in our most effective system and would end up being shoehorned into midfield on occasion so a big no from me.
  5. Nailed my colours to the mast on Williams, I firmly believe he's destined for a very good career at PL level. Feel free to remind me of this if he doesn't....but you won't need to.
  6. Not sure on that, I think he'll feature a lot this season, probably in at least 50% of their games and be a fixture in the matchday squad. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets in and around the England squad either.
  7. Brandon Williams???? Not a chance, the lad is destined for a great career, hard as nails as well.
  8. How there are statements that the European scouting network has had success is beyond me. Success is measured on either the players signed contributing to promotion or raising their own value so they can be sold on for a profit. Early signs are good with Kaminski and Holtby (difficult to attribute the latter's known quality to an improved scouting network but I'll go with it) but the true 'success' of them will only be apparent should one or both of the objectives be hit.
  9. Totally agree, however it's strange that you fanned the flames on the Hughton debate earlier if this is what you really think.
  10. Okay Joe, add Mowbray's Celtic disaster to the mix, still similar?
  11. I think he was seriously overrated while he was here. A good footballer but defensively poor - still I could be proven wrong, time will tell. Not sure it's a good move for him as Fulham need a rough house CH, they have enough 'nice' footballers. One thing is for sure, he'll get to work on his defensive play. A lot.
  12. Looks like he did Len, PAPR is (was?) Agnew's PR business.
  13. Agnew was in PR originally (I know, amazing isn't it?) and I thought Andy went to work for him before setting up on his own? Could be miles out though. Yes, thought so https://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2008/news/football-journalist-scores-new-role-in-pr/
  14. Did he not end up working for that poisonous shithouse Agnew? It's often forgotten the part he played in our recent past. Horrible bastard.
  15. Not a sitter for Gallagher but my God he has to do better there
  16. No time for that pillock. All be does is laugh at his own comments and say 'it's just incredible' whenever he's talking about Kevin De Bruyne or City in general.
  17. I like the lad Forss who scored the first for Brentford as well. Took his goal well, strong decent pace and good in the air. He'll make a good living in the game.
  18. You surprise me Gav. My mum and dad always told me to 'stop skriking' as a kid.
  19. He's like a shit modern day Mickey Quinn. A proper alehouse footballer.
  20. I think there's a collective feeling among Rovers fans that we desperately want us to be the real deal after the last decade, hence the, IMO, over reaction of some. However, there's no doubt that the quality of football is hugely improved and our talented players are showcasing their skills in a formation that suits them. Cautiously optimistic should definitely be the case for us all so far.
  21. Bravo sir, absolutely bang on. And you got in there a good 8 months before me.
  22. He sways to the left He sways to the riiiiiiight Tyrhys Dolan left Nob End cos they're shite
  23. It's not just the passing though is it?Whereas Downing played at a more sedate pace, Holtby moves the ball quickly and generally forward, not just in our defensive third but in the attacking third also. So the tempo is automatically quicker and that is, for me, the main reason why we are performing so well.
  24. Been said earlier in this thread but the difference when the shackles are removed is like night and day. If we keep this mindset and keep our key players fit (and make a couple more shrewd acquisitions) who knows what we can achieve? Having been a fierce critic of Mowbray in the past I have to give him huge credit for how we're currently performing. Hats off to him and long may it continue.
