  1. Game on!!! I can see this needing a thread of it's own!!
  2. The best thing about that game was that there was no Jonathan F***ing Wilkes to endure
  3. I've read the book, never saw him play but sounded like an absolute nutter.
  4. And let's not forget his writing off of Graham, subsequently retracted by saying he advocated selling him rather than writing him off. Answers on a postcard for what the difference between the 2 is.
  5. You're appreciated for your knowledge on here unleaded. I was the first to mention McBurnie. Ergo I know my shit too.
  6. And he's a rovers fan believe it or not.
  7. Good shout, he looks a proper player. Seen the Shrews keeper Henderson mentioned earlier, he's very talented and will undoubtedly have a good career in the game. He made some outstanding saves in the playoff final and has a real presence about him.
  8. Could do with an appearance on here from ffan. He was always a good bloke and I'm delighted for him.
  9. Well done Fulham, fully deserved to go up.
  10. Can see Villa sneaking a late one here
  11. 2 million for Cairney, it's enough to make you weep.
  12. Not long now until the 'J-Lo to return' rumours start.
  13. Bluetones were fantastic at KGH last night. Mark Morriss gives great banter between songs and the sound was as tight as a drum. Best moment though was when a broad Lancashire accent shouted 'That were reet bloody good' after Solomon bites the worm - Morriss and the rest of the band cracked up...as did the rest of us.
  14. I agree with that up to a point (I don't think 3 at the back suits the players we have). However Nyambe as a one of a 3 could work as he will have cover and not be isolated. It would have to be a 3-5-2 for me though as we would need someone with the legs to patrol the flank, if he got pulled out to that side one on one he'd get mullered.
  15. Got to get a better RB than Nyambe in the Championship. He may have excelled against a poor Oxford in a dead rubber but far sterner tests await. More telling is that the opposition always targeted him in L1 and we were often under pressure because of it. I'd expect this to continue at the level above and with better quality players there to exploit him.
  16. Yep. That's why I continue to endorse the signing of McBurnie, a proven goalscorer at that level.
  17. Ollie McBurnie has bagged his 9th for a poor Barnsley side this season. He'd be perfect to support/cover Graham up top next season if we can get him on loan.
  18. Sessegnon for Fulham again tonight. What a player, and only 17? You've also got to weep that we only got 2 million for Cairney....
  19. Cairney looks a 30 million player tonight with his range of passing and how good is Ryan Sessegnon?
  20. I remember that game, he just looked raw. He's not Premiership level and it's doubtful he ever will be but he's definitely Championship quality.
  21. Olly McBurnie, the young Swansea centre forward is bagging goals for fun in a struggling Barnsley team. Strong, powerful, good in the air and deceptively quick with an eye for goal, let me be the first to suggest him for a season long loan for us next year should we go up.
  22. Mickey Gray was absolutely scathing about Steele on Football on 5 and he's a Sunderland fan.
