  1. The only thing I agree with Tony on recently, is the phasing out of Harrison Reed. It’s patently obvious our approach concerning a permanent deal were rebuffed in January. He won’t be here next year. So can someone please explain what we get from playing Reed instead of a Buckley or a Mols? Do we really need to watch a player who isn’t ours anymore at this stage??
  2. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Rodwell Bell Travis ------------Dack Rothwell---------- Brereton------------------Armstrong -----------------Graham The new formation
  3. Completely agree with this. Tony is probably still pushing hard for another 4points just to be absolutely safe, then it will happened. I would be delighted even if we got hammered every week. I want to see the young lads and see if they can hack it for a spot on the squad next year. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Rodwell Bell Chapman Buckley Travis Rothwell Butterworth Brereton
  4. Could have played Dack and Rothwell behind Graham. But you don’t drop your best player, and Rothwell was clearly our best player at Sheff Wed. Furious
  5. McGinn is going to have Bennett’s lunch this afternoon. Complete bloodbath
  6. That makes you and Tony Mowbray the only two, who watch Rovers, that would bench Rothwell after the Sheff Wed game. Has Rothwell done something wrong that I've missed? First name on the bloody teamsheet
  7. I'd definitely keep Rodwell as a back-up Centre-Half, especially if Mowbray is looking to play the 5-3-2 or the 5-2-2-1 wingback formation. You need someone who can pass the ball in the back three and Jack can defiantly do that. You will need 6 centre half in the squad at least: Lenihan - New - New Nyambe - Rodwell - Magloire/Wharton/Platt Charlie Mulgrew might fancy one last jaunt somewhere else. Two of the more debatable names I would get rid of would be Evans and Bennett. Not good enough for the amount of minutes they play for us.
  8. I will go along with Parson and Arbitro and say we played some really good stuff today, so Mowbrays temper in the interview was a bit strange. Joe Rothwell is the last person he should be targeting after that, first name on the team sheet the rest of the season for me. Sheff Wed were dire save for a 15 min spell in the first half when they could have scored a barrel load. They won’t have won an easier/luckier game all year. I am not surprised by the game today, nothing has really changed: Raya needs to be replaced Williams should be fired Magloire icant head it, and we are desperate for a headerer Nyambe, all over the pitch as usual. Will look 10x better next to two real centre halfs. Bennett is a hurrendous footballer at this level, wherever he plays. Evans, total useless passenger as usual. Reed I just can’t be arsed with anymore, and I’m not sure he can be arsed with us. Was an odd sub today, assuming injury. Over runs everything. Travis was good again Dack looked interested, played okay the day Rothwell, man of the match, some things didn’t come off but I don’t care. Graham did okay, ideally would have came off the bench today. Conway, good finish. Shouldn’t be here next year Armstrong, did okay. Buckley, was very good, tidy on the ball, turn upfield and drove forward a few times ala Travis. Mowbray will have that out of him soon enough though. Can do everything Evans can do and more. Im really not that upset tonight, we have 3 centre halfs out, and Mowbray ballsed up January, we all know this. I was pleased to see the young guys starting to come in. Hopefully JRC and Butterworth are next!
  9. Hahaha...I glanced at the screen and thought Jesus that mascot is fast...it was Barry Bannan!!! ??
  10. Bennett Nyambe Magloire Williams ————Evans Travis—————- Reed————Dack———Rothwell ——————Graham—————-
  11. Would like to see Travis playing in the right wing back spot where he excelled in the under 23s. Certainly has the engine for it. I believe Rankin-Costello is playing there for the under 23s now and creating plenty of chances.
  12. We have to push higher up the pitch
  13. ALERT Dack is playing false 9
  14. Okay so Rothwell isn’t starting but at least the team looks balanced and most players in correct positions. Actually feeling confident now but most of that is based on Travis and Evans in centre mid. Would have been tempted to rest Graham for Brereton and drop Dack for Rothwell. I am a fan of the 3-5-2, nice to see we are starting with it and not resorting to it like we have done multiple times this season, in desperation.
  15. I’m gonna lose my fucking shit if Rothwell is on the bench again.
  16. Thanks for report. Can you tell us the formation and where everyone was playing? Who do you think will get a first team game before the end of the season?
  17. Just switch Armstrong and Rothwell and I'm fine with this. I can't believe I am going to say this, but apart from getting absolutely roasted for the Preston goal on Saturday, Williams was solid enough and Nyambe was probably man of the match. Travis should be given a go at RB. Rothwell and Bell have linked up well in the odd occasions they have played together this season, that relationship should be given every chance to florish, which means Conway will be chosen on Tuesday. I am all for dropping Dack too.
  18. Can’t believe we have to say this again....WE CANT RECALL ANYONE!!! Mowbray has fucked up
  19. I’d have Bauer and Hanley in here this summer. Would be pleased with both and just what we need. Appears like Mulgrew might be away at the end of season, but I would keep a hold of Rodwell if possible. Rhodes would be a hard pass for me.
  20. I think our biggest problem is we are poor in the air as a team, a collection of short arses. You would expect a team of munchkins to be quicker and have more athleticism but.. We are slower than a week in Barlinnie. The players that have pace don’t really use it effectively, Armstrong/Nyambe/Reed/Bell. The squad really is a mess.
  21. Mind the Preston one, when he came steaming out of the back to make a challenge and getting nowhere near the ball, and Preston scored easily. Got mauled against Sheff Utd at home too, just off the top of my head.
