  1. RE: Bell I wish he would shoot sometimes. He makes these glorious runs at times and always picks the wrong choice. Very frustrating as you say, but it’s funny seeing guys challenging him to a foot race. His defensive work has improved in the last few weeks, and not many silly mistakes, like Williams is famous for.
  2. The best starting 11 is starting to emerge. That said we really need a quality Wide Attacker. Kebano lad from fulham looks to be heading to Sheff Wed, he would have been great.
  3. What a brilliant second half that was. Agree with Nyambe back in as soon as possible. Bennett would be a great player to have on your bench. Bell was outstanding again, don’t know what people are expecting from a young left back, I think he is getting better. Evans had an uneventful game. The type of game we have become accustomed to with him. Travis and Reed should be the two midfield dynamos, with Dack, Rothwell and Armstrong the attacking three.
  4. Yeah row Z was the best place for that situation. Don’t know what Bennett is thinking there.
  5. It really is the big question mark surrounding the team at the minute. What’s the direction here? Conway has been poor for 2.5 years now(apart from a godlike performance vs Sheff Wed). I think it’s nuts he got offered a new contract. Smallwood, is a tough one. I don’t mind him as a squad player, but shouldn’t be first choice. Bennett, he just drives me nuts. He is a good lad but has played poorly in many games in the last year and a half. Bench player in a good championship team. Evans, I like him, he is a tenacious little bugger, wish he could get up the pitch more. Graham - Fine Lenihan - Great Mulgrew - Great
  6. I agree but Bell is better than Williams.
  7. Bell is better than William, which is why he is playing every week.
  8. Raya pulling the miraculous save, but can’t handle shots right at him.
  9. Would help if Dack could come to the ball
  10. Love Harrison Reed, but I don’t think he is going to get into a premiership teams midfield. A move to Rovers would see him become a cult hero. Future captain once Charlie retires.
  11. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell ------------Evans Travis-------------- Reed---------Dack---------Armstrong ---------------Graham----------------
  12. Least it a new name. Another 19 year old Ben striker to be shunted out wide? Anyone seen him play, decent?
  13. Jeesh, if that’s true I would keep it for the summer. Get a Gallagher on loan, along with a winger and centre half.
  14. ESPN + showing it in the states.
  15. Harrison Reed is a fabulous footballer, hands down our best player. All the stops to sign him please. The running the lad puts in during 90mins is incredible, good tackler, passer, has it all for a centre midfielder. If Southampton are stupid enough to sell him we should be all over it. Give him the armband and a five year contract. Get Bauer in now, enough of the speculation. He seems to fit the bill. Sign a Striker.
  16. I thought that was about as complete a game as Armstrong has had all season, still only about 75%. Looked dangerous for most of the game. Got a rapturous congratulations from Tony when he came off. More of the same please Adam!
  17. I actually agree with you. I said after Sheff Utd, that holding the ball up well, (sometimes) seems to be about the only thing he is offering at the moment.
  18. Bell played well, and I'm shocked to see some don't agree. He actually was turning away from pressure today and driving forward with the ball. He got beat for pace once in the first half that I can remember.
  19. Could see that, Barnes has no business in the Championship. He was a bloody nightmare today, not often you see Reed having to wrestle a guy to the ground cause he cant stop him. Bennett on skates all day. Stevens and then Barnes, Hurry back Ryan Nyambe.
