Anyone else having serious issues with ifollow today?

Looks like Tony has been back on this message board. Few of us asking for the wing back formation with Dack in midfield, and two up top. Well it looks like that’s what we are getting today. Smallwood dropped thank god. I don’t have any problem with Dack coming deeper to get on the ball when we have two up top.

Loved it. The boy Bain was a bit strange. Coleman came across well if a bit of a wannabe. Kit Symons hinging on his coattails!!

Yeah this looks good to me. I want to see the wing back 3-5-2 formation, Tony has used it in the past. The lack of out and out wingers means we should be focusing the ball through the middle of the park. For me Dack should be at top of the 3 man midfield diamond, and then pick one of Brereton or Armstrong to partner Graham up top. Armstrong is a different player when he is played on the last man through the middle. Behind Dack you have Reed and Rothwell, Reed is the holding midfielder and Rothwell is your box to box guy, that will get forward and be positive with the ball. We already have 5 defenders on the park so you don’t need Smallwood in there. The midfielders can look like everyone else’s midfielders for a change, supporting the attack and getting in the box. Bell and Nyambe have the energy for the wingback spots. Thought they both had good games on Saturday. At the back I would give Rodwell another go, he played well vs Bolton, and hasn’t played much since. We will be lumping it up to Graham and over the top for Arma anyway, so Rodwell has a decent long pass and is solid in the air. Lenihan and Charlie either side.

Yep, I had Nyambe and Bell as the best two players for us on Saturday.

I think our first 11 is lacking, say nothing for the bench.

That was terrible, we had it coming all game long. Get Smallwood out the starting 11 immediately. Turned inside out on numerous occasions, just not athletic or talented enough. So poor going forward. Felt sorry for Nyambe, busted his ass to make something happen all second half then the goal comes from him being out of position. Thought Bell was excellent today. Everyone else but Nyambe and Bell were poor for me and we got what we deserved. i want a change of formation more than anything else.

Agree with most of that. I think Tony wants to play 3-5-2 with Dack in behind two strikers, but we have the problem of being one centre half and a left wing back short. I prefer the wing back formation as it gets 2 up top, and would allow a little more adventure in the middle of the park. Reed-----Evans ------Dack------ Would be my three.

Anything in the 20m range and he is a goner. Hopefully Tony gets it all to spend. Might be a blessing in disguise, we change back to the 4-4-2 like we should be playing.

I think Tony needs to change the formation, we are so bad going forward it really is painful at times. David Raya needs a word, that was a ludicrous mistake he made today. For 77mins I thought Birmingham were terrible and we weren’t much better. 2-0 we were a bit fortunate. Dack again for me was anonymous for much of today, unless he is on form we just don’t look likely to win a football match.

I tell you what, Boro are no great shakes. Should be playing in the highland league with those tactics. Our footballers could have won that game today but when you have the boring passing ability of Evans and Smallwood in midfield you can’t create chances. Rothwell showcased his range of passing when he came on. He should have been the first off the bench. We are horrible going forward.
