'Blackwater' almost made up for the eight episodes of mediocrity before it. I can understand changes to streamline the size of the novel and changes inflicted by the budget, but some of the gratuitous changes such as Robb's terrible love interest have been a real flaw of this season.
If someone like Suarez or Drogba fall down like a sack of spuds, the pundits aren't quick enough to slag 'em off.
If it's your Gerrards, Rooneys or Bales they'll completely gloss over it.
Finally got around to watching the much hyped 'The Hangover'. It was entertaining in a way, but I was genuinely surprised by the lack of laugh out loud moments. I think the naked Chinese dude attacking them from the boot was the only giggle I had.
I've often searched but to no avail. The hell's wrong with people!?
I e-mailed the club once to see if they had a DVD season review for that year but nope... just the shoddy Cup Final DVD.
I agree, except that Captain America was awful. And the first two X-Men movies weren't bad. In fact, X-Men 2 is still one of the best comic book movies to this day.
I'm sure they've had plenty of rows before. It would take something unprecedented for Speed to kill himself. We all know the elephant in the room here.
Still remember watching this on a Sunday afternoon and looking out for Cagliari 'cause they had a halved kit like Rovers. They were naff, though they did have Muzzi!
You can never know another. His close friends obviously didn't know him well enough due to the utter shellshock of his suicide. For the man to be pushed to suicide, there was obviously something untoward going on in his life. I wouldn't like to speculate but we shouldn't make assumptions about someone merely based on their public image.
I was only thinking the other day about when he was linked with the assistant manager job, and what a brilliant appointment he would've been.
Such a tragic loss to life and the game.
