  1. I fear you will be pretty accurate with that, it does seem like our history against struggling clubs for a long time now.
  2. Simply no comparison, Tronstad is a far better player than Travis. I liked Lewis as a committed player and someone who came through the ranks but he was extremely limited as a player.
  3. I love him, he works like an absolute Trojan for the shirt and leaves it all out on the pitch. However, no getting away from it, his finishing this season has been absolutely woeful, he has missed a lot of very presentable chances, most especially when time to think.
  4. I wish he didn’t miss gilt edge chances as well. That effort was truly woeful, he went from having a clean run on goal to putting it on his weaker foot and then trying to shoot from distance, shocking !
  5. Very harsh on Harry but I don’t think anyone could argue that Hedges deserves his place at LWB, been really good this season. I imagine that he has gone for Pratt rather than Harry for the height. How long before we start seeing Joseph on the bench, probably would offer more than Gueye.
  6. Certainly nothing special about Hull City, I believe where he came from or Sheffield United, knobhead !
  7. Well short of the 5,000 we took up to the old Ayresome Park on Boxing Day 1987. I think Boro, with Mowbray and Pallister, were top of the league and went on to get promoted via the play offs. We were 23 or something unbeaten with Steve Archibald up front. Garner and Bernie ‘the wolf man’ Slaven scoring in a 1-1 draw. It was certainly a rough old encounter, especially off the pitch, supporter bus windows being bricked and they attempted to turn our tranny van over, those were the days 😊
  8. Best birthday present for your lad would be to take part in the boycott, knowing he played a part in saving his club.
  9. Just tuned in to see whether Ryan was playing but on bench. Up front is Akor Adams, the big ghost signing of a few years past as announced by Mercer 😞
  10. Love that, Carl, need in plastered everywhere.
  11. I don’t think many, if any, of the carriers associated with the Pasha Out flag are ST holders.
  12. He’s been there the entire 15 years. Getting rid of him would be a start and hopefully bring the end game closer 🙏
  13. I don’t think they are happy or indeed, content for them to stay. They just aren’t prepared to do anything in an attempt to get them removed.
  14. I think you’re badly wrong there Herbie. The Coalition might not be representative of all Rovers fans but my guess is that it is more 90/10 -85/15 territory. I think if you asked every Blackburn Rovers fan whether they wanted their club to be run better, by new owners, you would struggle to find a single dissenting voice.
  15. We don’t know what the outcome and effect might be. At least we are finally trying and we need to get behind it, rather than opining why it won’t work.
  16. Luckily for the Sheffield Wednesday fans their journey has been wretched but thankfully, very short in duration. Contrast that with the much more painful and enduring death by a thousand cuts that Blackburn Rovers fans have had to experience. There is no comparison, save that one club will soon be bouncing back and the other continues on the path to oblivion !
  17. Fully agree with you but these fans aren’t coming back until Venkys are gone. Boycott is the club’s only hope.
  18. Great post. Is there anyone out there that doesn’t know that Chaddy gets his grub from the Burger Van behind the club shop 😊
  19. Top post, same situation as me. I would have given up my ST had there been a formal and coordinated call for it previously, I was just waiting for it but frustratingly, it just never came. Finally, it has and I will observe the boycott, folk need to see the bigger picture to save the club for us and future generations.
  20. A point very well made, Wilsden. I want to attend but I will boycott in an effort to save our club and end 15 years of desecration of Blackburn Rovers.
  21. Fair enough Chaddy, we all know your personal choice ! My only comment is that your personal choice does absolutely nothing to support the efforts of the many, to save our club.
  22. For the greater good Chaddy, wake up and smell the coffee, they are driving us into oblivion ! I can understand you attending, I’m been a ST holder for over 40 years and it will hurt me to miss but at the very least, can’t you just support the Watford boycott.
  23. Another prick, let’s keep it positive and progressive and leave out the musings of the minority pond life !
