  1. I’m with you. Yes, he’s made mistakes but on balance, and swimming against the tide, he’s performed minor miracles. Been let down by the bureaucrats since day 1, the players when push came to shove, poor officiating and a more than healthy dose of rotten luck.
  2. He’s been awful in his cameos from the bench but before the Sheffield match in which he was cup tied, he was playing well but more importantly, the team was winning.
  3. We were winning when Thomas was playing wide and making a difference. We haven’t won since he was dropped to the bench.
  4. I’m worried a win at Millwall will see us out the Teeside curmudgeon in the play offs, I’m not sure that I could stand that 🙈
  5. I wouldn’t, he’s been one of the worse culprits in this death spiral, his form has deserted him.
  6. I’ve stated this already, 5 points from 24 isn’t good enough and JDT has made mistakes and we have had wretched luck. However, I think the worse possible outcome is for us to lose the Manager. He will have learnt a lot this year, back him and we could have a decent chance next year.
  7. Actually, that doesn’t sound too bad to me 😊
  8. We are stuck in a circle of despair and every chance we get to break it, we fuck it up on or off the pitch, and frequently both. Kick in the teeth, after kick in the teeth. Gut churning capitulations, season ticket prices out of kilter with the local demographic and competing clubs, fewer through the gate, less commercial receipts and therefore, downgrading of playing staff and the asset fabric of the club. This year was the chance to turn the corner of terminal decline and we have fucked it up again, on and off the pitch.
  9. I must admit of the three, I would prefer Millwall
  10. Perhaps now would be a good time for Greg B to give his promised post January window / Appeal debrief. Without a win in 8 isn’t good enough and we have had some stinking luck but look at the bureaucrats, the January fiasco has cost us and will probably see us lose the best manager we have had for many years.
  11. He’s a poor player. Bad first touch, easy to play against and the softest 6ft 3 in the league, any physical stuff and he disappears. He also can’t head the ball.
  12. Sure, they will both likely lose and we will concede a Millwall equaliser in the 90+4 to a debatable penalty / offside 🙈
  13. Think we had a chance last match of season, we won but I think Reading took the place with a win, at Doncaster I think.
  14. I’ll make the point again, until JDT omitted Thomas, we were winning and haven’t won a match since 🤷‍♂️
  15. It was on that famous Saturday, the second day of May, we met a bunch of Swansea fans on the motorway………… Preston fucked it up ☹️ What a tortuous day that was at Eastville.
  16. We are never going to score or win again 🙈
  17. Couldn’t agree more, take a shot FFS, you just might score ! Start Dack, he knows where the goal is.
  18. Jim got some stick from the Riverside but it was a love / hate relationship, he could often be seen encouraging the Riverside to raise the decibel levels and get behind the lads.
  19. Probably not but we can only hope and pray 🙏
  20. He’s not to blame for the January window, ask Greg !
  21. Another goal for Hirst, I wish he was playing for us on Monday. Letting him go was big mistake, not replacing him even bigger mistake, shit show 😡
