I’ll swap you. Used to work in Bumley. Nobbers are worse!

Can you read? Or are you just trying to be clever? Parson was always going to say it was perfect timing. Just as Chaddy was always going to kiss his ring. I presume nobody at your school supports Preston or Wigan then?
-
It’s longer than that Mike but we have got away with it until the last 2 games.
-
Agreed but the Rovers managers job [since Venkys arrived] isn’t like any other in football!

Good news in the wider scheme of things but god-awful timing. A new contract should be a walk out and wave at the fans moment. After the recent dreadful performances, perplexing team selections, of the last month or so, and now the humiliation of two heavy defeats to local rivals, he will likely receive a muted response. I’ve been thoroughly embarrassed all week and at the end of it, the guy responsible gets a pay rise. Nice one Venkys; the veritable royal family of bad timing.

Bit harsh on Waggott.

The “Drop Dack and Attack” formation... talk me down from the ledge... (Bring him on later in the game. Maybe.)

The manager is always responsible for results. Always has, always will. A manager who regularly changes the personnel in a team and doesn’t get results will be even more open to criticism. One week you are playing the back up to Graham, the next Palmer, the next Armstrong... A feature of Mowbray’s tenure has been rotating players. With a superior squad in an inferior league it kept players fresh and it didn’t matter so much because whomever we put out we had a better side that 90% of teams. In the Championship it is preventing us from building any momentum because we no longer have superior players. Sticking with Evans and Smallwood out of some misguided loyalty while having Reed and Rothwell make room is ludicrous.

His line up tonight wasn’t my gripe necessarily - although recent ones have left a lot to be desired. He brought off Graham and brought on Williams to play wing backs and effective us Armstrong as a front man with Dack doing not a lot. It was such a poor change - especially at 1-0 down and we looked even worse afterwards. In the games I’ve seen him, Rothwell has made us tick in midfield, although he needs a Savage type to do the ugly stuff for him (maybe Reed) but he can’t get a look in. Dack looks disinterested or has just gone out of form. A ‘slight knock’ might be a good plan for the weekend. Sadly like all managers who have run out of ideas Mowbray will probably persist with the ‘false 9’ nonsense as his Plan A.

People who work with Wigan fans. How about Mowbray picks sides that can compete in football matches instead of science projects?
-
I think Mowbray is making it harder for us with his team selection and tactics. He withdrew Graham today and reverted back to the formation that failed us so badly at the weekend. The players may well be responding to that. It’s been made all the worse by having this mini-meltdown against local rivals because the reaction is much more emotive. After a crap morning on Monday, it’s going to be more of the same tomorrow. I even went to Ewood on Monday where West Ham gave us a lesson but as disappointing as it was, nobody else knew or cared.

Those half season tickets will sell themselves! If ever there was an argument against Mowbray, you’ve just made it. But I disagree completely. We were second best in that game tonight and deservedly lost. No complaints about the score line either. To blame individual mistakes is trite.
-
Might be wide of the mark but it looks like Dack is leaving in January and all of the players know it. How can players just become crap overnight? Mowbray really needs a win against a side only three points below us. Our goal difference has taken a hammering in just two games. Now on -6. And with Mowbray’s approach it will take about a dozen games to get that back to zero.
-
I honestly don’t think we’ll get a result against Sheff Weds. I fear booing after a third defeat in a row. Performances have been poor in a lot of games this season but we’ve carved out points. Results have now gone the same way.

Joke of a goal. Hahaha! The comeback is on!

This is embarrassing.

He needs to answer some serious questions about his rotation policy.

Forget red button, Sky need to show our games on the Comedy Channel. So close to three there.

You could write clickbait headlines!

At 1-0 down he brought off a striker for a defender so who knows.
-
Had to give that

Dack has definitely lost his mojo. I think he misses Graham more than most.

Mowbray has lost the plot.
