  1. £500 is a lot of money. If only we had got just two more season ticket holders... Let’s see but if it’s only one game I bet we don’t.
  2. Bet we don’t appeal. There is probably an admin fee involved.
  3. The stream was really poor quality at the start but I refreshed the screen and clicked back on the ‘watch match’ button and it seemed to clear up. Very poor service though. The pre-match ads are so intrusive and long-winded. Neil Yardley was just setting up and it went off to an ad break for about three minutes. Then within about two minutes it went to another ad break. Very very poor service. With any competition they’d be toast.
  4. Don’t agree. It has to be fair on both clubs and both sets of fans. Today was an example of how it affects the match officials. Their number 7 would have been booed every time he touched the ball after his unprofessional conduct in demanding a red card. What was also ridiculous, and I suspect not what the government had in mind, was cramming all of those 2,000 fans into one stand of a 17,000-seater stadium. This approach will have us back in a national lockdown again. (Which only happens when London is impacted you’ll notice).
  5. Nothing but pride for those 10 lads in that second half. Not often I clap in the living room at the final whistle. Have that Brentford. And I’ll even say it: well done Mowbray. Capitalised on a stupid, arrogant double tactical substitution by Frank, with both of Tony’s subs combining to get that priceless goal. COYB!
  6. He only has one set of fans to appease. I believe they call it ‘crowd management’. Farce.
  7. We’ve seen today what having only one team’s supporters in the ground does. It’s the reason why FIFA use it to punish clubs. Add in the FA Cup and VAR, and we’ve lost all of the integrity in football as the ONLY thing to play for is money. Meanwhile the LFA have banned all grassroots junior football throughout December on the grounds of “safety”. We are being taken the piss out of all ends up.
  8. Sergi Canos. Going out of his way to get a fellow professional sent off. And then celebrating like he scored a goal. That and his hair sums up the problem with modern footballers.
  9. Number 7 there delighted with himself that he talked the ref into giving a red card to add to a dubious penalty. What a tosser.
  10. What is wrong with the fitness at Rovers?
  11. It’s actually making me angry watching these crowd shots. Surely the fans weren’t intended to be crammed into one stand?! We can’t have ANYONE in yet London were the rate is rising can have people in close quarters shouting and singing? We’ll be in another national lockdown on the back of this London Tier 2. Joke.
  12. Quite shocked by the crowd at Brentford. That is NOT what social distancing looks like. ...Fuck’s sake, more adverts during the pre-match coverage!!
  13. Today is where we find out how far we have come under Mowbray. A win would be a real statement. A defeat would show we are still not where we need to be. A draw will divide opinion.
  14. Poor Neil. This iFollow ‘product’ really is shit.
  15. That was tough to watch but a gratifying three points. We cannot sell Armstrong in January.
  16. Is this ref cheating or what? Where has this extra 2 minutes come from?
  17. The commentary bias towards Elliott and against Dolan is palpable. If Elliott had made that move to create the space and shot they’d have waxed lyrical. Dolan meanwhile “will be disappointed he didn’t do better than that”.
  18. Especially for those of us watching in black and white!
  19. How lucky that Ayala is back then. I knew he’d be dropped as soon as possible.
  20. So why foist mediocrity on us? Perhaps standing on the shoulders of giants may be more apt eh?
