  1. I know we were linked ages ago and was posted but for Sky to regurgitate on the same day as the Rothwell story?
  2. I agree if Nyambe goes this window. But if we do bring in the Dutch lad as competition to the end of the season, whats the harm in taking a look especially if Nyambe walks at the end of the season.
  3. Coincidence that this has come out the same day that Rothwell linked with a move away?
  4. At this stage in that season we were starting to pick up speed but at the beginning of December we were mid table. Generally though the FA cup was held in higher esteem so managers tended to field stronger teams than now. I agree that this season's momentum is much more vulnerable than then.
  5. Surely not passing judgement on a player youve not seen in the case of Brown? [Although you could ask the same with JRC with his injury record]
  6. But then signs Ayala on £15k/week. Not saying who is right or wrong.
  7. I was using JH Rovers figures to maintain a constant. I unlike many on here dont claim to be in the know on wages. I agree they all would like parity with top earners but some have to realise that this is not a factory where all on the same payscale.
  8. I agree in theory with what you say and you are probably in the ball park. But on the other side of it is that Rovers, using your figures, could be offering £8,000/week for Nyambe but his agent could be looking for things such as image rights, loyalty bonus or signing on fees which maybe the difference in the two parties.
  9. Stop being silly. my mum's best mate's brother in law has just done some work for him. He bought Ray Wilkins' old pad in Wilpshire
  10. Actually think the new system we play doesn't help Nyambe. As many point out his final ball isn't the greatest maybe wing back doesn't suit his style but as Tyronne points out his heading ability limits his chances as the Right side of the three. I actually think you'd see a better final ball from Nyambe if we got a greater number in the box so yes a better team may help him improve him.
  11. It wasn't just when he wasn't playing. Even when he was playing and playing well. He would be the one sacrificed and players moved. Remember even Sam Gallagher got switched there instead of him.
  12. I'm glad to hear your pro-Lancs but I keep my bitching when you do.
  13. If that was the case surely Everton would have bought him rather than the Rangers Full back. I havent seen the ex-Rangers player so dont know if it is a true reflection but I'm also unaware of his Championship experience which is what I asked.
  14. Dont know that. He never stays fit long enough for many of us to get a true judgement. Isnt he another Manchester schoolboy that you dont have a high regard for?
  15. He may of only signed Caddis but how many other players have played at Right Back? Last season he played an ageing player who only played as he was club captain there instead of Nyambe. Rankin-Costello played there until he broke his toe last season as well so I think there is history there. Ive sat behind Mowbray several times and the way he used to whinge at Nyambe was unbelievable. All this whilst Nyambe's contract negotiations are on going so Im not surprised he hasnt signed.
  16. I dont see many Championship Full Backs going for £3 million especially with so little contract. £3 million is a good return if true.
  17. IMO if JRC had stayed fit I dont think Nyambe would have played this season, so I still think that its beyond coincidence that two of the three are players that many on here feel that Mowbray used as scapegoats in previous seasons. Damage already done.
  18. £3million for someone walking for free in a couple of months is not a joke. A shame yes.
  19. Waiting for Nyambe signing for Leeds to announce his replacement. The king is dead long live the king
