No doubt Hart is better than anybody we have at the club...Walton shouldn't even be selected now ... Will be a bit like Robinson , possibly get a season out of him , then he will decline rapidly .... Also , he will be to big a character for Mowbray to handle..

He should have been sacked 5 mins after the transfer window closed last summer ...

Difficult to predict Rovers results , cos I think the players , just take the field at times and whatever happens, happens !!

I can see Rovers finishing above Preston , they are bottlers too.... The only thing Preston have over us , is a better manager , who can organise a team... The squad is poorer than ours ..

Unfortunately , thats what happens regular away , poor goalkeeper , defenders who dont or cant concentrate for the full 90mins .

Its the lack of leaders throughout the team especially in defence .... If Brad Friedel had played tthe last 15-20 games we would be in the play off spot...

That is a good summing up , it is an odd one , how results of the two managers mirror each other ... Must be something in characters of the players signed or the ambition ? I very much doubt Bowyer would have got us promotion out of the 3rd Division 1st time of asking or even at all.... Mulgrew and Grahams powers have waned a lot since ....Modern day ,Hendry and Speedie types are needed now for those 2 key positions..

Didnt something similar happen last season ?, thats how we ended up with Walton.. Whoever we were confident of signing didnt , for whatever reason and I have no idea , who it was ...

Besides Hart , not many English goalkeepers play for the very best teams .... Maybe this modern craze of keepers , having to be able to play out , doesn't help .. Give me a Brad Friedel any day of the week..
