I think this game has been put on SKY cos it is unlikely to be played before a crowd.... If not , I am very surprised the police haven't insisted on a Sunday 11am start ...

In my time seen my Rovers teams , flirt with promotion to Division One, the 3 Mackay teams were far superior to our present team, albeit the last one beaten by Swindon were poor in comparison...

The biggest failures were in the summer ....Not enough defenders acquired , the Mulgrew farce after playing the 1st game ...Signing another non scoring forward ...

My thoughts too , hopefully we will be proved wrong ..

He had a far better squad than Tm King , Rhodes , Gestede ,Dunn , Cairney etc ....Probably in time both will be judged as not quite being savvy enough...

Maybe catch underground to Hammersmith and then bus drops you right at the ground ....Bus goes through Chiswick ...

I never e xpected any signings unless , significant others left .... This is down to the manager , who wasted the last two summer windows on strikers who don't strike....I accept Armstrong is doing better ... The contract extensions to players who helped us gain promotion are now ,screwing the club big style.... Nothing to do with FFP just bad management and recruitment.... Or just being down right lazy !

Looking back and hindsight is a great thing but the appointment of Ince , was just as bad as Venkys, Anderson et al ... One bad managerial appointment from relegation , well imo Ince was it ! Compounded in years to come !

This Rovers team reminds of Saxton's last full season , if my memory serves me correctly a tumble from midtable to relegation or bust on the last game which was played on a Monday night .....Think we beat Sheff United 6- 1 to in that dreadful run.....It saved Bobs job for a few months til Xmas , then Mackay arrived ....
