  1. We don't hear from you often, but when we do its invariably stuff like this. I can't make sense of it. Whether £22.5 is decent money or not can only be seen by supporters as a good deal if its reinvested in the squad and we move rapidly up the table. That's not going to happen, its never happened and we've lost a key member of our squad. Stop defending these bastards. They paying you or something?
  2. Getting rid of players who bleed blue and white and replacing them with loans. What could go wrong?
  3. Shouldn't have shoved Travis out the door. Hard to believe we won't need him before the season's out. A purely financial decision by the owners who couldn't care less whether we get relegated or not.
  4. Well he always does, we're always hysterical etc. I miss him!
  5. We'll be relegated for a start.
  6. Or the Wharton deal isn't going through? I can always hope!
  7. That's what Venkys have done to us. Taken over a fine club, brilliantly run, secure Premier League status and totally trashed it. We now have the reputation of a bunch of spivs and chancers. How many have we let down in this way in recent years. We are an absolute shambles and I'm both embarrassed and ashamed.
  8. We should rename the Transfer Widow--- "the biannual let-down"
  9. To keep the Club going?
  10. Mind you, I'll always remember the contribution of Kevin Moran. Aged 37 and couldn't even train between games but what a player! So you never know I suppose.....
  11. Whatever Rovers do, you shift your opinion to embrace it. Every time.
  12. Its a stepping stone and I guess the pressure is on at Ewood for him to go.
  13. How about "the owners are desperate for cash and they don't know what they are doing"?
  14. He has a wage though. And how long do we have to wait?
  15. A case of parental cruelty if so!
  16. Always sad to lose one of our own. Let's hope they remember to include a sell-on clause because Palace will sell him for double in 2 or 3 years.
  17. Looks pretty obvious he's out and McGuire's in. Net cost £300,000 with possibly lower wages.
  18. Always got to remember the calibre of the opposition though. I've always supported Dolan---he makes things happen by his determination and energy. Its infectious. Pears obviously a better option than Wahlstedt but not so long ago we were calling for Pears to be dropped so W could take his place! That really signifies we've got 2 ordinary keepers at best. Gally scored one and made one and put himself about as he always does. We miss that but he was never worth 5M all those years ago. Doesn't score enough. JRC---top man, just hope he can keep fit. We've missed him big-time.
  19. Straightforward, comfortable win against poor opposition. Once we got past that initial 20 minutes they were never in it.
  20. I think I'll worry! 😨
  21. Yes---real fear that they'd sell us to another bunch of bastards as a form of revenge.
