  1. Eh? How they have performed depends on their ability doesn't it?
  2. He's unique in English football.
  3. He'll have something to prove in this game though.
  4. If we have a good set of results leading up to boycott day then the protest will fizzle. too many fans can't see beyond thenext 90 minutes. But there is a de facto boycott of sorts going on all the time. Crowds are shrinking, many saying they won't be renewing next season so those who are organising the boycott---take heart, we'll get there in the end, just don't know when and what the end will look like and what follows.
  5. Merry Christmas to all and thanks to all the workers who work so hard to keep the site going. Its a pleasure to be part of it.
  6. The boycott may not be successful but it has to be tried. In reality thousands have just got out of the habit of attending anyway and probably realised how much money they are saving on a lost cause. It'll be joined by more over the summer when many don't renew. That is a boycott of sorts. Sadly it all seems to be leading to a tragic ending where fans have to pick up the pieces and start all over again. The only question for me is how many years of suffering do we endure till that happens. I don't think I have that many left!
  7. Sad about that. On The Beach---great album.
  8. And Ohashi is more offside than Pape!
  9. So much for free speech! Not allowed at Ewood. I suppose someone with money could challenge that but most haven't.
  10. They'd have sold it for housing if they could!
  11. We showed in this test that we could play Test cricket. All we have to do now is to do it for 5 days. Oh and learn to catch.
  12. He'd do well in League 1.
  13. No Jim--we don't. Especially in the bowling ranks.
  14. Just not good enough are we? Wood is a sad loss but its like us relying on Carter. Even our catching has been embarrassing compared to their's. We just don't have the same competitive instinct.
  15. Some really good comments from Rovers fans in this article: https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/blackburn-rovers-boycott-debate-emotional-120000596.html
  16. That's never coming back. The only thing that cheers me up about Rovers these days.
  17. Amateurs seem to have taken over again. Totally inadequate preparation, (they knew best) and a basic failure to understand that there are 5 days in a Test match. Feel so sorry for the thousands of England supporters now stuck with a dead series. It seems to me we can now only play at home on our wickets.
  18. Only way to deal with Chaddy is to ignore him.
  19. God, I remember him! wish I didn't.
  20. and not protesting will encourage them to sell I suppose? So what's your point----do nothing?
  21. Bit negative aren't you? How would you resolve the mess Rovers are in?
