  1. I hope those clubs are as interested in Tijon as we are in various players we are linked with.
  2. and before we know it,kick-off time will have come round and we'll be scrambling around to get a squad together.
  3. Rover's astute transfer dealing!! Been a while. Should keep the lights on for a couple of weeks!
  4. Can absolutely identify with that! The light from oncoming traffic diffuses so much now, I hardly know where I 'm going!
  5. Yes, another Club goofed once so that makes our disasters OK! Typical.
  6. He had a good season for us and we finished 7th. I think many Championship Clubs would be interested, especially with no transfer fee. He's going to strengthen one of our rivals isn't he?
  7. True---I can only think of celebrating when they've gone.
  8. Liverpool might make a mistake or 2 along the way but they are still the Champions! Margins are so tight for Rovers we can't make mistakes , let alone glaringly obvious ones--like not tying down our best players, of which we only have a few. It's not that hard. But we keep doing it over and over and over again. I'd list them but its too painful
  9. Kuqi had a superior goal celebration though!
  10. I remember writing after a few games that Gaye was already 27, should be at his peak and we shouldn't expect him to improve much. Yet at various points he did! Does seem Ismael doesn't rate him though.
  11. Most fans love him! His form is inconsistent but he does terrify defences and doe defend well. Puts his head where some wouldn't put their foot! I would persevere with him, could we sign better with our budget?
  12. Ohashi is worth his place but shouldn't lead the line---not strong enough. Benefits from having the big bloke up with him imo and his passing and crossing can assist Gueye to grab a few.
  13. ie assist us us to sell Brittain rather than "strengthening? Get £2-3m for Brittain, spend less on a replacement. That's my fear anyway. We are going to have to sell players soon and there's not many who will bring in much money.
  14. As usual, ignore all the responses to what you wrote first time round, then complete the circle by posting it again
  15. I didn't disagree with any of the ref's decisions in that game. Just sour losers.
  16. YEP, its what they say that counts not what they do!
  17. The last time the old Ewood was packed to the rafters was v City 1969(?) It was absolutely frightening standing on the Riverside. You saw the sway coming before it hit you and you had to cling to any rail for dear life. Can't believe how we used to get many more than that on. Crowds more well-behaved possibly.
  18. The decision to disband the team was shameful, lack of communication is bad but secondary. If they'd communicated it well it would still have been a shameful decision.
  19. Club went downhill with all of them. Singh tried to make things better but had no clue and should never have had the job. This is the problem---Venkys simply appoint people they trust regardless of any experience or ability.
