  1. Well i've read and digested a lot but right now I'd say the chances of Rovers, as we know it, surviving more than say 4 years seem very remote. If Venkys won't sell the club has had it.150 years down the drain.
  2. Season ticket holders counted but didn't turn up.
  3. A clear example of how disengaged they are from Ewood. They appoint non-entities, then believe what these stooges tell them! They don't have the interest to even get a balanced account of what is happening. What is the point of hanging on year after year?
  4. Yes but in that 3 months interim many season tickets won't be renewed. That will be very significant I'd imagine.
  5. I don't know much about Carlisle I admit but you haven't provided an argument as to why Rovers don't need to lose Venkys. OK it seemingly isn't working out well at Carlisle but its not working out well at Ewood is it? Should we stay as we are?
  6. They are at the bottom and that's why the challenge appealed to the new owners. At least they have hope, we'll have to see how it ends. What exactly are you saying? Getting a new owner might not pay so Venkys should stay? Bizarre if so.
  7. The same sort of people who are buying Carlisle! People with money who want a challenge. Don't fall for this guff, are you saying we have to have Venkys forever? We'll die anyway if we do.
  8. . If they left tomorrow there wouldn't be anything to show for 15 years except decline on all fronts. They've spent a lot of money but they've invested NOTHING.
  9. If the talent is there it goes somewhere else! Haven't you noticed?
  10. How the hell did Tarkowski escape a red card ?
  11. True Den. Not just relying on youth players though---they were going to lease players! They've kept both of those promises just not in the Premier League!
  12. and how many laughed at Eustace for taking on an impossible job? Derby certain to go down etc How he's turned that around even after early failures should convince even the thickest fan what a gem we have lost. He certainly hasn't been replaced by the current manager. They hardly mentioned him did they? What a great job the 3 stooges have done.
  13. A few questions for Waggot---he clearly implied that if there were to be a sale of the club, the owners would be looking to get their £200 M+ back. Of course they won't get it back or anything like it. I notice that he didn't say there had been no offers for the club, he said there had been no "concrete" offers for the club which means anything he wants it to mean. I suspect any offers were declined before they could become "concrete". What a bunch of liars they are. So do they prefer to keep hold of the club and continue to put money in, or better expressed, start putting money in again? Or does this 3000 minutes stuff foreshadow that they intend to rest even more heavily on our own youngsters? Are they really so dumb that they they think we can sell a Wharton every year? Or that the supporters could live with that even if it were possible? How do they expect us to avoid falling down the leagues with this "plan". We'll end up in a local league playing in a field. Surely they will give up?
  14. As others have said the key moment in that "interview" with the 3 stooges was when Waggot did not completely deny that Venkys might sell. A small chink of light but its the first and only.
  15. Don't forget Leyton Orient and Tranmere Rovers!!
  16. Get promoted and its a different ball-game entirely---a concept beyond Venkys.
  17. Rory is very impressive. Combination of passion and grasp of events. We should hear more from him.
  18. What a tangled web you're weaving there Len!
  19. Interesting that they replied to a question, about contract negotiations with the assertion that it was difficult at this time because we didn't know what League we would be in next season. First of all, that is ludicrous--- there is no chance of promotion or relegation. But secondly they have directly contradicted their own newly-appointed manager who has openly admitted we have no chance of making top 6! They are all at sea and lying on this one. The truth, more likely, is that they have no funding at this stage to pay the likes of Brittain ,Travis etc because the owners have made no decision. Suhail claims they are still funding us but that's another lie.
  20. If they keep us much longer we will be a complete basket case. If they has any sense they would get what they can now.
  21. "There's no problem with the funding" says Pasha--- so fucking fund us!
  22. They seem to think: Venkys are still funding us at the rate of £20M a year But, at the same time, this represents debt which a new owner would have to repay. We can't sign decent players because our hands are tied by FFP. No-one would be interested in buying the Club if Venkys wanted to sell. ALL WRONG!!! Some of those early posts are so ludicrous that they have to be Dingles or plants. I tries to sign up, but couldn't and on reflection I've decided my blood pressure comes first. Its a health risk on there!
  23. Wrexham reporting record revenue of £26.7 M, more than half of it from outside UK (ie US). No reason on earth that couldn't have been us, apart from Venkys remaining. We won't be able to compete with Wrexham on or off the field next season.
