The club’s last two sets of accounts advise us that the owners were given permission by the authorities to send: £3.54 million in June ‘23 £11 million in October ‘23 £15 million in March 24. I make that a total of £29.54 million. Perhaps at the next forum (I note this is less than a fortnight away) clarification could be sought as to whether these are the sums SW was on about (along with an explanation as to the remaining £5.5 million). In any event, as you say, this is far from the fabled £20 million a season.
