  1. Winning the first game ‘back’ will also help the players get over today’s disappointment. I know what you’re saying about the teams we have to play but I’d rather we have the chance to beat them ourselves than having to rely on others to do it for us. Of course it would help if Luton and Millwall could implode - they must have squads that are no stronger than ours.
  2. Thank you - it’s something I know nothing about Is the data also divided (thanks rigger) into types of chance (eg header, one on one, inside box)?
  3. Which of the ‘chasing pack’ do you think will benefit from a strong squad depth in this busy period?
  4. Are these stats ‘segmented’ (can’t think of a better word) into how difficult the chances were?
  5. I can’t comment on Maja as I know nothing about him but I’d prioritise pace over hold up play if we can only have one. A good goal return is, of course, essential
  6. Nope, but I highly doubt all strikers with pace and the ability to hold up the ball would cost that much
  7. Let’s not push our luck too far!
  8. I’m shocked that the two Manchester teams have been kept apart…
  9. It’s not away it’s at Wembley (I’m sure you know this really!) Means their two loanees can’t play
  10. One with pace and holds the ball up would be nice. Oh and if he could score lots of goals too please 😀
  11. I thought the game had to be stopped for a suspected head injury Maybe @arbitro can clarify.
  12. You’re welcome! I’ve not listened but maybe it was a clumsy attempt at demonstrating how ‘succession planning’ is part of his job? Like you say though, don’t say anything unless asked (and possibly not even then)
  13. I’d say that is putting in effort - but at the wrong time
  14. Is it this one? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001kdw7
  15. Unfortunately we don’t have to imagine it
  16. Should that be part of Remy’s role?
  17. I agree on those two improvements - plus replacing Brereton and replacing/signing Thomas
  18. The interpretation has changed (your link) but the law already included a definition of handball (my earlier link) which didn’t include it having to be deliberate I’ll be making no further comment on this as I’m sure I’m boring everyone!
  19. I agree with your opinion, I think it’s a stupid law 🧐 change. I thought we were good too, just unlucky/let ourselves down in some key moments. As long as the manager/players don’t dwell on the disappointment I think we’ll have a good end to the season
  20. Them having three up front would have opened up spaces elsewhere. Our substitutions should have been either to exploit that or just to freshen things up
  21. No you can’t But he definitely influenced the match by not producing a second yellow for Robinson.
  22. I understand the upset part - but some of the reactions are still extreme. I think if we play like that for the rest of the season (well barring the last few minutes) we’ll be in the play offs
  23. The link to what I posted from - is that not the law? https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct
