    The only other option would be an agreement with the Directorate Of Enforcement but if that was the case we wouldn’t have been fed the ‘technical and procedural issues’ line.

    I suspect SW told them that as an absolute fact whereas the accounts make clear the club assumed all future requests would be approved.

    I work on the assumption if the club say something without providing evidence then it’s probably a load of bollocks.

    When in reality (at those prices) they’d lose both season ticket and match day sales. Can still see them doing it though.

    I think they’d see that as additional income rather than as a way of reducing season ticket prices.

    You’re probably right. I’d love to know who they think would only get a season ticket if those clubs were amongst the visitors.

    The Berg case didn’t delay the announcement of his departure though (no idea about Shaw)

    Maybe some ‘walk on’ fans attend matches based on the opposition but surely the club realises season ticket holders go solely to see Rovers?
