  1. Fleck coming here now is like Dack going to Sunderland. It's best we don't expect to see a lot of him.
  2. Bucko has a hell of a lot to live up to his reputation has trebled in his absence.
  3. He may have those capabilities and intentions but once its been derailed from upstairs he won't be doing it here. This is journey number 3 in the last 3 years and the train will be off the tracks again before we get anywhere near the station named 'Play Off City'.
  4. The worst squad was the Coyle season for a host of reasons but i'd say this is the weakest but not the worst. Weakest because of rapid over reliance on cheap youth filling up a squad that has lost a lot of good players in a very short space of time. All this is due to chronic under investment leading to poor recruitment and a slashed wage bill killing any and every ounce of progress made in the last 2 years. Every last bit of that is directly and indirectly at the door of the chancers running the club and the ownership in India.
  5. Hey Tony Mowbray has suddenly found Birmingham is near Teeside so Eustace shouldn't have a problem if old Tone can manage it.
  6. Probably the best man for the job though or should i say the best type of manager for the job at this moment in time. Sadly his task is clearing up the people running the club and if we are honest JDTs mess. Trouble is with guys like JDTs style it always goes one way or the other there is no in between, Waggot and co however just love an inbetweener it keeps their cushy numbers safe.
  7. Stop pretending to be the expert on everything and don't get arsey like a little girl when someone calls your bluff. I already said neither you, i or anyone else really knows what can and can't be done but you've already back tracked on your original hissy fit saying loans 'can not be cancelled.' Now move on, i have.
  8. You've answered your own question there really, the squad isn't good enough the powers have let too many go and not replaced them. So any manager is up against it here now it doesn't matter who they are or what tactics they apply.
  9. I think we are back to a W/L/D type pragmatic manager again i just hope it isn't a bit too late but 4 points from the next three needs to be the bare minimum.
  10. What would he have blamed today's likely defeat on i wonder.....
  11. First stretch and he's gone is both entirely predictable and not a good look all things considered with his recent history. However i do feel for him because he's a good player but again a silly signing considering the odds.
  12. No, any time as i'm reliably informed but it has to be agreed all round for valid reason and it would mean a financial penalty to the club cancelling it depending on the agreement. It won't happen anyway because they will want to use him and he'll want to stay there plus we've used his wages. However point i was making is if it was me i'd be on the phone begging to get him back, somehow.
  13. Lowe Mk2 headless chicken he really needs a season on loan somewhere to learn on the job, Jason suffered from being thrown in when he really wasn't ready for it. I like Garretts commitment and tenacity but he's a liability in this side in this situation but of course it wouldn't matter if we hadn't signed yet another croc and his role was still just ten min cameos.
  14. Stop wasting my time go and cry about it somewhere else if you can't grasp it. Loans CAN be fucking cancelled IF there is the desire to do so !
  15. We have no recall option but i'm sure they could cancel it if they decide it's pointless keeping him however that would probably mean some financial penalty but Rovers could always wave that. You, I nor anyone else knows what could actually be done if the desire was there by all parties. However it's unlikely they'd let him go anyway.
  16. Broughtons main remit as far as i can see was to source and bring in young players to develop, get mins into and quickly increase in value. Forget the experienced signings and those paid a fee for there are plenty of pointers that they were already being lined up before GB arrived having been identified and the wheels put in motion with the previous mob. Whether he played a part or not again i'll come back to his main reason for being brought in here, the identifying and recruiting of players to develop which is supposed to be his area of expertise. Leo, Ennis and Tel are shockers and that side of it shows he really isn't up to the task, then throw in the 4 yr deal, the 800 grand fee etc and the alleged numbers he struck for McGuire, well it's no wonder hes been reeled in. Where does he get off agreeing to those kind of figures for McGuire after the initial deal went belly up ? Either someone was telling him there was plenty money or he went rogue trying to save face.
  17. I'm sure it could be broken if there was an agreement all round it's been done before. We've wasted his wages on another croc though.
  18. A very tricky next few fixtures means we are likely to get dragged nearer to the mire so i'ts a valuable point today even though in essence it's another two blown. Usual flaws exposed again but the second half resilience was good to see and gives them a bit of belief and something to build on. Fleck another stupid signing given his recent history, the DoF needs to pull his finger out and get Travis back right now, Garret is Lowe mk2 and needs to go away and learn in a lge below for a bit. The two Sams up front though we could be on to something there.
  19. Could be in viking or eskimo, he speaks many languages after all, a very intelligent man not like some British mercenary managers.
  20. Card AND cash, no digi only, no shut ticket office, no restrictions.... Amazing eh.
  21. He's going over the top with the PR spin because he is the latest shield they've provided for themselves and he'll have been fed a script. He won't be allowed to go rogue and to be fair the off field stuff is nothing to do with him so he shouldn't be expected to comment on it. Give it 12 months though and we'll see if he can keep it all in, as for Waggot, suhail, Sylvester. GB and co well lads the streets of Blackburn NEVER forget !
  22. Like we've said before the '20 million a season' strapline covers for an awful lot of self inflicted obstacles to progress.
