  1. This club if it thought it could get away with it would probably implement a digital only ticket sales platform. How many would lose full and part time jobs then ?
  2. Nobody would be shedding tears for executives and shadow lurking middlemen being dumped on the dole i'm sure. What Paul is not seeing is that usually in event of admin it's the suits and higher earners who get the boot and the football club keeps on functioning and playing meaning everyone else keeps their jobs whilst a rescue package is found. Very odd this fictional scenario of innocent staff members all being shoved out the door the min the admin guys come in.
  3. And i told you in my first reply that won't necessarily happen in admin so no need for the fear mongering. Nobody wants to see anyone lose jobs but they will anyway if this continues yet admin might avoid that as the examples iv'e given you. By the way stopping buying season tickets and attending might have a similar effect yet you'd probably buy one again if someone with a plan snapped us up if we ended up in admin. Only people to really blame we know who and where they are so these cheap shots at those who might welcome a sudden bullet rather than the death by a thousand cuts we are on are getting a bit tiresome now.
  4. Trouble is those ex players and useless journos bleating about the alleged cutbacks on the women's team haven't taken one second to examine why. Because that wouldn't suit the victimhood narrative but they really should be highlighting the whole clubs plight.
  5. The number of questions he didn't bother trying to answer are more telling than those he did. He ain't got a clue obviously but neither have his sources i'd wager.
  6. Derby, Coventry, Pompey, Wigan just a few of the clubs who have survived admin, are still going strong and are still employing lots of people.
  7. Admin wouldn't do that or at least not to the depths doom mongers like to believe. Going bust or liquidated would, continued managed decline and ending up in the lower reaches of league one will also do that. By the way invoices are allegedly already going unpaid for 90 days.
  8. I mean that just sums them up doesn't it ? Lower Bowl in an almost square stadium that has one stand with NO upper and the other with the upper closed. Idiots it's like they are completely detached from reality.
  9. We've heard that almost since they first bought the club though and it was always Balaji and pals toy anyway. Big kids often keep old toys in the cupboard forever.
  10. Classic Nixon again, it's clearly the policy for anyone who will want a championship wage and isn't a promoted youth player on peanuts.
  11. That's exactly how they operate they are keeping themselves in wages by overseeing managed decline with the model they've pitched to the owners who are still too stupid to realise the damage that is being done.
  12. Yet that lot have been outperformed.
  13. Not sure where the 'they'll put us in admin' comes from. It'll take 6 months before that would happen because there are still transfer instalments incoming and we'd need to be owing thousands in unpaid tax, vat, loans, overdrafts, wages, NI etc etc. They have proved to be masters at staving that off for a decade.
  14. Scrub trophies for top 6 and you could be talking about Rovers under Venkys.
  15. Supposedly that why Rudy has landed an apprenticeship here ? To save the other two trying to pull it all together and be the convenient head to serve to Pune when the latest 'model' attempt doesn't work.
  16. The golden generation so called was very overrated, yes we seriously lacked a Beckham or Gerrard in the last few years mainly because no one was capable of grabbing a game by the neck under nice boy Gareth. But across the squad there was more depth - not judging it by 'big names' - than anyone else has had but unfortunately he didn't choose to use it enough. Like many before him he ended up going down the square pegs in round holes route in order to appease. End of the day though Italy were the best 'team' at the last Euros and Spain were this time.
  17. I don't think anyone committing to a season ticket really expects much else to be honest. The two fingers up may yet be to come.
  18. I can never get that tepid effort last time we were in the final and losing 1 nil so no surprise we went out with a whimper again rather than a bang. A really odd situation with Southgate he somehow has the knack to stay in tournaments longer than any other managers but he'll never win one whilst he has breath in his body. Also has more depth of talent across the squad than any England manager in my lifetime and always relying on someone pulling something out the bag rather than clear tactics to hurt the opposition. Coached it safe every time but has to go with his head held high he has restored us to elite level albeit as eternal bridesmade's.
  19. It will come and go and nothing will happen there'll be the usual silence Waggot will say all is well then come Sept we'll take the first real bid on Szmodics and the window will shut. Then silence again.
  20. They say yes you can send some big money but we won;t continue allowing it so you need to sell the club.
  21. More flair in his toenail than we'll have next season once Sammie is sold.
  22. The only way i see it is someone like Gallagher leaves and his fee is committed to the wages of someone else over a year or two. But as we know it's likely virtually every penny taken in will go towards running costs for the next 12 months.
  23. If we were replacing Gally with Dykes i'd say that's decent enough but if he's coming in to replace Szmodics and earning big money then it's a concern. Obvlsy got to consider though there might be a change of style and it might suit him well so he'd score goals.
  24. He linked us with Dykes last summer.....and probably will next summer.
