  1. Just heard off a mate he has got 3 tickets for Cardiff for £25. Not sure how true this is, but anyone still to get one it may be worth ringing the Ticket Office ASAP.............
  2. Just got a message off a mate saying he had just got 3 tickets for Saturday at £25 each from the ticket office. Not sure if it's true but if anyone still has to get tickets it might be worth trying ASAP........
  3. Great posts Revidge and Waggy. I'll be there so will many others, some won't but that's upto them. As I said before there will be people who can not make this game but want to who are probably more deserving of a seat than many of us. To be honest i'd rather we took 50 people and beat Arsenal than 30,000 and lose. Anyway 2 days to go, bring on the Arse
  4. I've got a few mates who are ST holders at OT and they are travelling down Friday and Staying over the weekend as I'm sure many more will as well. Anyway with a wedding on the Friday which will finish around 1am with a 4am start on the Saturday, I think a few pints of red bull (with vodka ) may be needed. So with the £45 paid + £4 booking fee and coach all arranged it's time to forget about the FA and the balls up that is this semi final and get back to looking forward to one of the biggest games we've had for ages and soak up the pre match build up When we win £45 will seem like an absolute bargain
  5. It was in the Telegraph last night. They went on open sale 4 days early and 12,000 have been sold!
  6. Waggy, i'm not happy about paying £45 becasuse there are still £25 seats availible. If that was all that was left It wouldn't bother me as much. I hope the £25 seats do go on sale as the more support the better the day, and i'm sure there are a lot of fans more deserving of a place in Cardiff than me who can not go due to cost. I'm lucky, i've not familyand a credit card, with some of my limit left so i can afford to make sacifices to go. As for only giving a quid, you tight git
  7. I'm with you there. It could be worse couldn't it, we could have lost against the Dingles. Getting to a cup semi isn't such a bad thing is it? Im with both of you on this one. I dont understand the mentality of some of the ppl that post here. Blackburn is in the FA cup semi final and ppl are almost looking for excuses to screw the FA by not going to the game; WTF!!! Maybe it is because of the saturation of football in the UK/Europe that drains your enthusiasm, but speaking from a country starved of the game; all those that dont want to go to the semi, buy a ticket for me and on behalf of everybody else that cant get there but would gladly sell their own grandmother to do so and then you will have your grand day out. Where do you draw the line though. What will be next??? The FA cup be held in Asia to boost the sports popularity and tickets priced £500. Come on it's a semi final FFS, make the effort, Japan isn't that far away. Just like clubs have to make a stand against players like Bowyer and Dyer the fans will evenually have to stand up to the FA. I have got a ticket for the Semi costing £45 but a few of my mates who go every now and then to Rovers may have gone for £25 or even £35 but are watching it down the pub.
  8. Well said Capt. I got my ticket for £45 plus £4 booking fee How many supporters will weigh up whether to go to the semi, decide to go only to change their mind when they get quoted £45 for a ticket. I can't really afford to go at £25 a ticket never mind £45 but thanks to credit card no. 5 I'll be making the trip
  9. What a load of Bo*****s Anyway, i've no need to worry about getting from Bristol to Cardiff as i've got a wedding to attend Friday. Looks like it's the coach at 5am after all day on the ale, well one has to be sociable , which should be a enjoyable experience Think they should change the name to the FU(p) cup
  10. If people really wanted tickets, they've had plenty of time to get them. I got 3 in monday and was only on the phone for 25 minutes. I agree when people are standing in the cold for a hour for tickets and the office only has two or three windows open it can be a bit frustrating, but staff may be ill or have holidays booked. The club didn't know we were going to get Burnley in the cup never mind a replay Anyway, we are a consultant or two short here at Huddersfield Infirmary so i'm just off to perform a hip replacement
  11. I wouldn't count on that. Weekend games aren't a problem but there has been at least one mid-week game this seasom where the CP at the bottom of Albion Mill was full and Ewood was well short of capacity. Can't remember the match but the cars were parekd nose to tail so as to block each other in. I shall be setting off earlier than usual to be sure of a spot. Agree with that Paul, anything over 25,000 and Albion Mill is usually full. Get there early if you want a parking spot.
  12. As far as i'm aware it's not on TV. Arsenal Vrs Sheff Utd and Spuds Vrs Forest are both on instead.
  13. Got through about an hour ago, took about 25 minutes from being 46 in the que. Seemed to be selling well, but woman on phone said she couldn't understand the rush today.
  14. Great Harwood town - Live in Gt Harwood and all the players in those leagues all give 100% and play for the love of the game. Halifax Town - worked there for a bit and watched them a few times. My mate supports them and used to travel miles on a Tuesday evening to watch non league footy. Proper supporters unlike your glory hunting man U and Chelsea @#/?! Crewe - Always respected them for the way they played football and survived on limited finances. Also got some great players for Rovers from them on early Champ Managers Carlisle - don't know really? Bury - went a couple of times during the 'fans united' thing when they were skint.
  15. I vote for whoever gets the beers in It's a tough one, but women at football
  16. Well with transport offered.....you have to ask why they are going on the train then..... ? Of course Old Bill will treat em the same as your "usual suspects".... because they will wonder why they are taking the train......when they could have gone on coaches. I think theres a few on here who actually are the "...usual suspects".... Try this: To have a beer and not to be treated like 2yr olds. Its a disgrace that burnleys hooliganism problem has to affect the 3800 Rovers fans looking for nothing more than a good game of football and obviously a Rovers win. Maybe this time if there's more making their own way to the game, people like the middle aged dentist from Nelson won't get hammered by some cowardly piece of s**t whilst walking with his family to the ground Cowards. Cheers Gav and the rest, saves me replying Typical Dingle though, can't understand anyone turning down a freebie
  17. Bazza, was just thinking the same It is a tough one, with Sutton, Speedie, Jansen and some very good cases put forward for the old school. But my vote has gone for the great Simon Garner
  18. Cheers SG, that did cross my mind. Think we are getting the 12:30 (ish) train, and there are around 50 or so catching it so the police shouldh't have too difficult a job of spotting us.....................probably a good thing Can't wait not, just going whatever I can to make the working week pass as quickly as possible
  19. Loads of people seem to be getting the train to the dingles and coach back. They can't be bothered waiting around for hours before the game, especially as there is no beer on sale!
  20. Lads, we've gone fishing and caught a dingle............ As i side note, i've been looking at trophies won and...............no i couldn't be that cruel................................could I
  21. It's all right for you season ticket holders and regular supporters. What about those supporters who only go to the big games, they will have to miss this at least you've all got other games to attend................................ ............when do we play Arsenal????
  22. Good idea Nayef It will probably be a more difficult choice than the best ever 11. Whats that saying about our managers
  23. I'm knackered and hangover and just want to be in bed, so Goal Kick or clearance from the goalie in his area is just about the same difference at the moment, even if rule 7 sub section 6.23 states differently. I really can not be bothered to consult the rules every time I post Anyway, either way it is poor from Dickov.................
  24. Thought we played well last night and contrary to some reports thought we played some good football. Tommo was very poor and his distribution was awful. Emerton poor but sometimes didn't have any options available with just dickov upfront. Dickov got stuck in and made things happen, but getting caught offside from a goal kick two or three times was ridiculous and annoying. Thought the two new lads were outstanding and Mokoena passing was pretty good considering Chelsea harried us as much as we did them, in midfield. Matteo played pretty well for me, OK so he shouldn't be allowed outside our half and his constant big hits down the touchline drive everyone mad, but he put in some good challenges. As for the lack of attacking options we had two or three good chances against a team who have not conceded in how ever many games. We definitely need a striker, left back, right back and possibly centre Midfield players in the summer, but should be more than OK with what we have got
