  1. Not exactly booming, but there we go. As I lived in Essex at the time, most of the game I went to were away from home, and I was hacked off with the Rovers not turning up. For me personally, getting rid of Sam was not the big mistake. Not replacing him with someone suitable was the mistake.
  2. That might not be a bad thing. There won't be many outdoor venues to watch the games in Nov/Dec. So pubs will be packed and fuses will be short.
  3. I am more worried about our off-field problems, than our on-field ones.
  4. I think Phillips should be allowed to establish himself at U23s level, rather than be loaned out. I would also say the same for Adam Wharton and Jake Batty. They are for the future, not the here and now.
  5. I can't see that. If you buy a ticket, that seat is instantly unavailable. Why would it not work the other way round ? If a ticket is not bought for a certain seat, why would it not show as available. It is more likely that the seating map is not updated becase it is a Sunday and no-one is at work, to enter the data into the system.
  6. Probably last century as well.
  7. I am just hoping that the 2022/23 Gally is better than the 2021/22 version.
  8. On a side note, joint best season since we were relegated, is not a very high bar. It is not good enough for Blackburn Rovers. We have just gone through one of the worst half seasons I have witnessed in my 50+ years of watching the Rovers.
  9. Well as Khadra would be starting from Brighton, he would be at a disadvantage. I would choose Gally of the other two, as he is a forward.
  10. And it also is better, if your players can do something useful with that ball once they have got it.
  11. Humor is lost on some people. As the bible says : Some fell on stoney ground.
  12. Your arguement started with, that we will miss the pace of Rothwell and Khadra. Therefore we had pace with those players. We are a team that had pace and weren't successful.
  13. I prefer to have good footballers who may not be the fastest, to someone who is just a speed merchant.
  14. As long as we are pedestrian and winning, I don't care. Speed, although an advantage, is not the be-all and end-all of successful football.
  15. We have been missing most of the atributes you have listed since the new year.
  16. The amount of season tickets any other club has sold, will have no bearing what-so-ever, on whether or not I get a Rovers season ticket. Preston have sold the amount they have, because their fans want to be certain of a ticket, when we play them.
  17. In my opinion, we have two central defenders who are already better than Annesley, in Phillips and Pratt.
  18. I'd be more than amazed.
  19. Officially, I would expect sales to still be "on course". Until after the deadline when people will be able to see how many seats are available.
