  1. So buy tickets each week if saving money is your motivator. If you want to guarantee the same seat every week, buy a season ticket.
  2. So even the club sponsors can see that the season tickets are stupidly overpriced.
  3. Even if we had got fees for the three of them, we would not have seen any of it for replacements. So we would be in the same boat.
  4. On the football thread yes, after a game, leave the topic open for a day to let people express their opinions of the game, then shut it down. Otherwise people just end up going over the same points with each other, and it becomes monotonous.
  5. He's gone, end of, close the thread.
  6. I am looking forward to the new season.
  7. But my answer was to the post asking if Saadi was good enough to step up to the first team.
  8. I can only comment on what I have seen. I have no idea of the thinking behind the scenes. Personally I think that if Phillips hadn't been earmarked to train with the first team squad, Saadi would not have started for the U23s
  9. Not a hope in hell will Saadi make our first team
  10. The percentage would remain the same, the amount would go up.
  11. I take it, Paul Mani means by proxy. Therefore not breaking any rules. Anyway back to the weather, looks like rain here.
  12. Forget history, look to the future. 12 points from those six games.
  13. I have been in my back-garden today, it has been totally blue sky,15 minutes later it is overcast, 15 minutes after that it is back to blue sky.
  14. We know who we are, fuck the rest of em.
  15. I don't remember that, I can't remember it happening too many times in the last 50 years, but that may just be my memory. My original post was a quip. Not really a topic for in-depth discussion.
  16. My main question would be: Is he a leader ?
  17. No, because if you are away the first game, you are always home the last. Same if you are home on boxing day, you are away on new years day.
  18. Another parameter is the quality of player that we can afford to sign, on our budget, whatever that is.
  19. 50/50 chance of being right.
  20. Pratt has signed a two year deal. He has impressed me as a no frills center-half. He heads the ball away, gives it some wellie when it is needed, and chucks in a tackle. Not much in the way of finesse, but that can be forgiven in a young center-half. Saadi signed a two year deal. He is the polar opposit of Pratt.
  21. He looked at ease playing for the U23's, good enough at that level, let's hope he makes the step-up to first team squad.
