As a defender Bell is awful
-
We have, Brereton, Gallagher, Bell, Bennett all performing poorly yet still getting picked! Who is to blame?
-
Can you imagine the uproar if he went somewhere else and was a success. It might have to be admitted that the problem is with the set-up at the Rovers

The question was, why wasn’t Rothwell playing in his best position, No 10. It was pointed out, that was Dacks position, hence he wasn’t picked in that position . As Dack is now not available, I think Rothwell should be picked at No 10. -

I think the first verse of Rudyard Kiplings If, is very apt for Mowbray

You are correct, but the first topic of my discussion was a formation that did not include Bell. Then it changed to why I had suggested Chapman in the team. So the goalposts haven’t moved, there are just two of them
-
Rather than play Bell , yes.
-
I am not saying Mulgrew should be picked, I would play three at the back, dropping Bell. They had an extra man at the back because they realised they did not have to mark Bell, so gave him the freedom of the left wing in the second half and still he produced nothing. He is not good enough at championship level.
-
I think you will find that the position I have put him in, is as a wing-back which depending on what type of player you are, can be an attacking position
-
So why didn’t you just say that?
