Brereton does himself no favours with his first movement every time being out to the wing. If he wants to be a center forward he should always be in the box feeding on what arrives.

If he has pace he never uses it, He is never in the right position to make a tackle, the 2 or 3 misplaced passes where the only forward passes he made. If you think he was OK that is your opinion. But yours and my ideas of what is an OK performance are miles apart.

If any player tackles from behind it is a freekick whether he gets the ball or not. in this case the keeper came right through Brereton. for me a definite penalty.

I thought tonight was another performance that shows why Bell should be nowhere near our first team.

To me it is not so much of what are his strengths, as what is he not so weak at.

But you can't play 2 untried players instead of Bennett, the ref wouldn't allow it.

A left side of Williams and Bell is not one I would go with. I would prefer a back three with downing at left wing-back. But each to there own.

In the team I picked there are only Johnson, Davenport or Mols in your list, to compete with Bennett. Johnson was by far the worst player on Saturday the other two are untried. I would go with Bennett.
