  1. This is where we differ. I would be pleased to see the Rovers have a stellar future and Mowbray prove us wrong. As for Raya, just another ex player.
  2. Watching England is similar to the Rovers. Loads of possession, too many passes, no end product.
  3. Last season we constantly did this even when attacking. I say play-on, score a goal, then the injured player can get treatment before the kickoff .
  4. I think it was first seen on tele at the Mexico World Cup
  5. HE's gone, let's forget him.
  6. He should have put the ball and the player into row Z
  7. So what is your definition of changing a game . If the scoreline is not effected then it is a waste of time!
  8. They created and missed as many chances as us in the second half. But that still does not alter the fact that Buckley did not change the game. We were losing when he came on, we ended up losing !
  9. I would agree against a certain type of opposition, his skill and movement could turn games, yesterday was not one of them games. what was required yesterday was a physical presence. You state that he changed the game. He came on with us 3-2 down, we ended up losing 3-2, how is that changing the game?
  10. Buckley is too lightweight to dominate a midfield at first-team level . Yes I was at the game
  11. The problem is his best is not good enough
  12. Two instances that stuck out for me where very similar. In the first half we lose position their player goes through with a half hearted attempt to be pulled back, end result they score.Second half they lose possession our player goes through, their defender takes his legs. End result their player gets booked, we get a free-kick which comes to nothing
  13. I could not see the point of bringing Buckley on in what was always going to be a battle in midfield, personally I would have brought on Nyambe at right back and pushed Bennet into midfield, but that might have involved playing too many players in there preferred positions.
  14. Frigging youngsters taking all the jobs
  15. True, but nothing to do with the discussion
  16. I gave that as an example of one thing not always leading to another
  17. Until we actually lose matches because of the injury, yes it is. When Raya got injured at West Brom last season , that could have been a catastrophe, but it wasn’t because we took a point.
  18. It is only a catastrophe if it all goes wrong for the team. Until that happens it would just be another injury
  19. What are decent pubs near New St Station.
  20. To tell the truth I don't give a toss now.
  21. It is just in which positions, that is to be decided.
  22. No that's Bell !
  23. Remember the Liverpool FA cup game at Ewood?
