  1. The Park Road sign might help you. There is a Park Road in Darwen but that unusual building is not something I recognise.
  2. I'm pretty sure it's not Darwen.
  3. But that post is hammering Tomasson for his selection and tactics. Rovers fans are fully entitled to feel bitterness and anger towards him tonight. If you think that was acceptable today then you are entitled to your opinion.
  4. And again today at three down Tomasson has everyone back in our penalty area for their corners.
  5. It really annoying that people are posting about our league position as some kind of excuse for today. We've just been battered and embarrassed by our bitter rivals and our position in the league is absolutely no comfort to me right now.
  6. Losing 3-0 to bigger rivals really hurts compounded by the way we played. In truth 3-0 flatters us and it could have been five. But what hurts me even more is Tomassons comment that he feels sorry for us, the fans. He hasn't a f***ing clue how we feel right now. The condescending, arrogant, patronising dick. I would have preferred him to come out and accept some of the blame for selection and tactics. But nothing apart from feeling sorry for us. For f*** sake the very least we can expect is to match their energy but we didn't do that. We played right into their hands with the inane passing across the back invariably going backwards with each pass. After watching them concede five last week we knew their real weakness. How many corners, free kicks and crosses putoot their keeper and defenders under pressure. None I reckon. Right now Tomasson can shove his over playing, easy to play against shite. He should remember and be reminded of what he said in his first interview. DUTCH DISEASE. And he doesn't look like he has a antidote for this particular disease.
  7. For anybody making their own way to the land that time forgot Lancashire Police have offered this advice. 1/ Dig out your old 1970's clothes such as flares, tank tops, and platform shoes. Even early 70's attire will do. Crombies, Ben Sherman shirts and Doc Martens will be fine. 2/ If a plane flies over point at it and look bewildered. 3/ When walking still slightly forward to give the impression that your knuckles are nearer to the ground. 4/ If possible keep your hands in your pockets for obvious reasons. 5/ If you are with members of your family cosy up to them as if your are actually lovers. 6/ Say faaave and naaane instead of five and nine. 7/ When you arrive home ensure you have a bath in disinfectant if you have been close to any of them. You will blend in if you follow the above guidelines. In seriousness keep safe everyone and do our club proud.
  8. Good luck for today but have the worst ever day tomorrow. 😂😂😂
  9. Had Mowbray wanted to keep him he could as Raya was still under contract unlike the three who left in the Summer. That for me is the fundamental difference and ultimately a huge error from the erstwhile Mowbray.
  10. https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/content/additional-arrangements-for-burnley-v-blackburn-rovers There are some additional arrangements in place for tomorrow with a section of Harry Potts Way closed to home supporters. To access this road Rovers fans will have to show their tickets. Stay safe everyone.
  11. Congratulations to David who has made the Spain squad for the upcoming World Cup.
  12. I am reading that as disdain for Dack and having him as a substitute rather than playing him.
  13. Pricing is key and this will be Forest's first game after the World Cup break. If they shift up to 5k then I think us selling 15k is achievable. Looking at the fixtures I don't think it will be televised.
  14. Adults for £10 and kids for a quid will see us get 20000 plus I believe. Forest would bring around 5000 at those prices I think. Come on Swag listen to the fans for once and get as many as possible in - those young lads who performed so well on Wednesday deserve it.
  15. No mate, let's play for penalties and in the words of Peter Kay 'we'll shit 'em'. 😂😂
  16. The law hasn't changed in respect of the all the participating players (with the exception of the keepers and actual penalty taker) having to stay on the half way line. I didn't notice and deviance from this last night.
  17. Home at 4 am, up at 6 am and still running on adrenaline from a performance and result to make every Rovers fan proud. We deserved the opportunity to take them to penalties and every penalty we took was nigh on perfect (with the obvious exception West Ham's were good too) as we showed composure in a pressure situation. A special word for the fans too of which many weren't from Blackburn. It's quite funny hearing anti Dingle songs sung with a southern accent. 🤣🤣
  18. It's really poor that Swag would rather rinse supporters than fill the ground. By the time the Nobbers game comes around we could be in the top two, starved of proper football for a month and perhaps some of the more casual supporters appetite might have been whetted by the World Cup. So he charges ridiculous prices for a 12 noon kick off live on Sky. The sooner this bloke departs the better our club will be.
  19. Do you ever post anything that doesn't have a swipe at the fans? It's tedious now.
  20. Tomorrow is pretty much a free hit and providing we don't get hammered it will be a great opportunity for our youngsters to showcase their talent on a big stage. We can go there and hopefully play with the freedom we did at Bradford which was hugely entertaining and satisfying. I saw Tomasson quoted as saying that we have sold 2000 tickets. That's a terrific effort.
  21. Although trains are running you simply can't get directly back to the North West after the match. The closest is to Leeds on the 23.30 out of Kings Cross and arrives in Leeds just after 2 am.
  22. I think Dack's red card yesterday was the culmination of his frustrations this season. He clearly believes he is fit and deserving of more than a place on the bench and not even getting on the pitch more often than not. Sometimes a referees decision can provoke an abusive outburst from a player but yesterday from what I saw that wasn't the case. The ball had gone out of play near the corner flag and the next thing is Dack is walking slowly off the pitch. I couldn't help thinking he knows his time is up and I felt some empathy with him as he trudged across the pitch. Thanks for the memories Bradley.
  23. We were flattered by a 2-1 defeat today against a good Brighton team. Jordan Eastham kept us in it with a string of great saves but him aside nobody took the eye. Dack getting sent off clearly didn't help but I think with a full team we would still have lost.
