But why. Statistically Pears has been better. -

Can you see Coventry winning at Middlesbrough? -

How did we concede midfield? We ended with three midfielders just like we started with and Brereton dropping deeper. In the latter stages Hedges played as a striker. -

I generally agree but what can Wharton do about slipping and Hyam's block could have gone anywhere. I really don't get the mentality of it has to be someone to blame when the two players were clearly unlucky. -

According to quite a few posters pretty much every one of the last five have been must win, we haven't won and are still in with a good shout. Whatever the result I'm confident we will be going to Millwall with it all to play for. -
They have played two games since then too. Yesterday they were pretty much up to full strength and lost.

Preston brought two attackers on in Woodburn and Delap so were essentially playing four forwards. They also put an attacking midfielder on in McCann too. Thomason had to combat that. -

That is pretty much what I was told which was almost a confirmation of what was reported in the media just after the January window. -

I think Tomasson has learned a lot this season and he seems to have adapted his style of play utilising the players we have. The Championship is notoriously difficult and Tomasson has had to learn on the hoof. It's easy to allow the frustrations of Coventry and Preston to cloud our judgement but I believe the green shoots are beginning to show and he needs backing properly in the Summer. -

If there has to be a scapegoat it certainly isn't any of the players or management for me. The biggest error of the season was not bringing a striker in during the January window. Step forward Broughton and his recruitment team. I think they have cost us more than anything else. -

I thought we were excellent in the second half and Tomasson deserves credit for his changes which really gave us some real impetus as we were by far the better side. It's hugely disappointing how the game finished but for me I don't think there was too much wrong today. We reacted so positively to the Coventry setback and we can do that again. -

Preston had an equally tough night at Swansea and conceded four, their manager red carded and a subsequent ban for one of their key defenders. Adrenaline should be enough to overcome tiredness for both teams. Sometimes it comes down to just wanting it more. -

What's not to like? A local derby, sell out crowd, 5000 Rovers fans and all to play for. It certainly beats the dead rubbers we have endured so many times. And we owe them massively after the mauling they gave us at Ewood. -
The interview sounds to me like he is maturing fast. It's easy to forget he is 18, when I was that age I wouldn't listen to advice from my peers. Hopefully Adam is now heeding the advice and we get the polished diamond we all know he can be.
-
Surely he would need two tickets. People like him wouldn't be allowed on without a carer.
-
Come on mate, spill the beans. 😂
-
Hopefully the stupid, inbred, cretinous moron actually bought one and loses £30, probably a week's wage for the thick, ugly, incest loving dope.
-
I recall a Marlon Dingle posting on here in the recent past. I wonder if the two are one 😂😂
-
Whichever way it sends out the right message to any Rovers fans considering buying and for that lot.
-
That's good but how on earth did they know who he was buying them for? If he (or they) put it on social media then they are as thick as table tops.
-
Of course it wasn't just down to being physical - I used that as an example to debunk the myth that he isn't up to the rigours of Championship football unless he bulks up. A big part of his performance against Hamer was off the ball when he closed him down, tracked his runs and so on. That is the area where Tomasson said he had to improve to make him a better all round footballer.

This is the kind of owner being attracted to the Premier League and using clubs as a vanity project. If the story is true (it's being reported by lots of media outlets) then his decision to sack Tuchel (for a problem he caused) has cost Chelsea upwards of £13m https://www.football365.com/news/todd-boehly-sacked-tuchel-ex-chelsea-boss-denied-children-half-time-dressing-room

Interestingly one of the Coventry comments is that he stopped one of their best players, Hamer from playing. And yet some of our own fans question his physicality.

At 9.15 this morning we had around 200 left and I was told there would be no further allocation. -

Last night's referee was due to be fourth official at Nobbers on Saturday but he has been replaced this morning. I think it's a sensible decision as his mere presence could have been inflammatory.
