  1. Clearly you don't agree that he should go so please state your reasons rather than a few words and a silly emoji.I I made it clear that in my opinion his role is untenable. On February 3rd last year he gave an interview in which he accepted full responsibility and a full review of the process would be carried out and changes implemented. He also said he didn't think we would win an appeal but, at great cost the appeal was lodged and lost. Lo and behold history has repeated itself and whilst he may not have been responsible for not actually pressing the correct button it has happened three times on his watch. There can also be a debate the merits of his signings which have only been moderately successful.
  2. With no official word yet that Tomasson has gone I wonder what today's training will consist of. The day before a game is when the starting eleven works on shape and tactics for the following days match. This is usually decided upon by the manager having watched clips of the opponents and read scouting reports. It is seen as the most important session of the week and given the magnitude of tomorrow's game it certainly is for us. I really fear that we will be under prepared and Stoke will look to take advantage of the absolute disarray of this week. It's staggering how Tomasson has still not officially been relieved of his duties and another manager in situ to prepare the team. With another but game on Tuesday this delay could really cost us.
  3. It appears they have their scapegoat then. Clean hands Broughton is off the hook despite his 'review of the processes' interview last February. It's happened again so what now? Another review of the processes? Out of embarrassment he should resign immediately.
  4. That was the one I was unsure about but couldn't be arsed looking it up 😁😁
  5. There are lots of good young coaches in current employment but we won't get any of them. I don't think we have appointed a manager who was in work and had to pay compensation, it's a bit like exploiting the free transfer market. That narrows it down a bit.
  6. They were sixth. The club were sixth in the Championship table when they surprisingly dismissed John Eustace in October,
  7. Just when you think things couldn't get any worse I see the poison dwarf Gavin Ward has been appointed as referee on Saturday. Well that should take some of the heat off Waggott and the precious ones. 😁
  8. Nixon will be looking at a list of any out of work managers* and sticking a pin in it. Derek Adams resigned as Ross County manager last night, Nixon might mention him soon. * They have to be out of work because as sure as eggs are eggs we won't be paying any compensation.
  9. He is the fitness guy. Just googled it Remy Reijnierse.
  10. It was said in an earlier post on here that Tomasson, Silvester and Broughton have gone along with the coach who nobody knows his name.
  11. If Broughton has gone then by process of elimination Waggott and the curtain twitcher will be in charge of making the next appointment to replace Tomasson. I have wracked my brains and don't believe either of them has ever been really involved in the process of appointing a new manager. Heaven help us.
  12. I refereed him a few times and he wasn't half a whinger. 😁
  13. The senior professionals group (or whatever they call themselves) are probably having counselling after some horrible fans booed them. Precious gobshites.
  14. My point was will the omnipresent Lowe and Benson keep their jobs. He took two new coaches with him to Birmingham so will be be allowed the same here.
  15. If it is John Eustace then his backroom staff will be interesting. Will be have to work with the current incumbents or can be bring his own team in. If he does presumably Lowe, Benson and Johnson will need paying up which the owners seemingly don't like doing. https://www.bcfc.com/news/all/backroom-staff
  16. The whole club is built on sand and for the foreseeable future we will only ever be days away from potential disaster. I include the senior players in this too after hiding behind some crowd dissatisfaction and using it as an excuse. The fans are the only constant here and everyone else should be aware of this.
  17. I think if they all went en bloc that would be a good thing and force the owners hand. Someting as radical as that would get all the media outlets interested. Everything needs to be brought to a head sooner rather than later otherwise we will go through these crises again and again. A new broom is needed from top to bottom.
  18. Secrecy is just that. Why would you tell a room of supporters something which, given it is secret something that is probably sensitive and confidential. In the real world it just wouldn't happen.
  19. I think some of your first sentence answers your question in the second sentence. Waggott is a snake.
  20. My understanding was that Adam was due some bonus but I wasn't told what it was for but I'd imagine a loyalty one which is normally paid over the length of a contract after an initial payment on signing. When Waggott was made aware of this by Adams agent he didn't want to pay it saying Rovers couldn't afford it. I understand there was a compromise.
  21. I was told about the validity of this story earlier this week and frankly appalled by what Waggott was trying to do. Imagine trying not to pay a bona fide bonus to a 19 year old kid who had just brought in a record fee.
  22. Whoever it is I hope he doesn't shout at them. They might even cry.
  23. Which is entirely your prerogative and if you got things off your chest and feel better for it well done. But deep down I think you know that Waggott wouldn't call such a meeting without an ulterior motive, which I believe is to take some heat off him and the faceless one. My personal feeling is that like so many other things that have gone on it won't matter a jot.
  24. Personally I wouldn't have gone then. You might disagree but I think they have used you, the other attendees and the players involved. Clearly Waggott is desperate and will probably feel some smug satisfaction from today. In my view it has driven the wedge even deeper between the club and fans. And hearing the players whinging has certainly pressed my buttons. He can call this meeting but won't have another Supporters Consultation or Shareholders meeting. You have to ask yourself why.
