The only thing I can think of is that if the new loyalty points system will include under 21 games and at Leyland there is no recording electronically so tickets would have to be bought in advance by season ticket holders. And occasionally some of the games are played the Academy. That's me having a wild guess though but once again the lack of communication is appalling.

I think the damage has been done Carl. I wouldn't expect any of the released players to reconsider after the way they have been treated. Effectively the Rovers Women's team is going to have to be built from scratch and on buttons. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the manager and coaching staff aren't considering their futures.

Looking at some of the names who have been let go I recognise a significant number of them as the better players I watched last season when I saw them play three times. At any football club the better players will always earn more. Clearly some of them are rightly disgusted at the way they are treated but my logic tells me it's about cost cutting, pure and simple. Pay staff extra to work Sunday??? 😂😂I The shop only opens at 11 am on Friday which historically is done to allow staff to put the new stock out. It is also open until 'late'.

When did that change Duncan? I have searched and can't find any reference to it. Beyond the creative accounting, there are a number of other expenses which do not count towards PSR. These are not set in stone, but are generally accepted as being costs which are incurred 'in the general interests of football' such as a club's infrastructure, any associated women's team and the cost of running their academy.

I saw the ladies three times last season and I recall some of those who have been let go as the better players. Apart from a few games at Ewood they play their home games at Lancashire FA headquarters in Leyland as do the mens under 21's. I know for certain that it was costing £2k per match for the mens under 21's so I think a similar amount for the women. They also have several games away which will probably necessitate overnight stops as well as travel. I would think the budget last year was less than Waggott earns though.

I have been told today that the game will be played on August 31st with a 12.30 kick off.

He was in investigated in Spain for alleged comments to Mason Greenwood although there was no charge due to lack of evidence. I just don't like things like that and don't see a need to do it.

I'm perplexed as to why he would do it particularly knowing that it would be picked up somewhere and made public. Personally I think it's offensive and wouldn't argue if he was banned.

Wahlstedt, just like Ennis before him was a cheap punt that failed. In my view he simply wasn't good enough and cost us a lot of points with his individual errors although he wasn't alone in this. If we can recoup the money we spent on him that's good but as ever the money needs to be spent on a replacement as none of the back up keepers are good/experienced enough in my opinion. My issue is I don't think the money will be spent rather than that used to keep the club going for a few weeks.
