  1. 'Derby face points deduction after EFL wins appeal' http://www.skysports.com/share/12302839 Sky now picking this up. Assuming they'll get hit next season, rather tha this?
  2. +Waggot tax +Venky tax Leaving us around £2m for players. If we had £15m left from selling Arma, we wouldn't be spending that money on new players.
  3. Sometimes these types of appointments work out but more often than not, they start well and then fade quickly. This bloke is 53 years old, never been a manager before in his life and has spent the last 7 years being an assistant to the bloke they just sacked. Those 7 years by the way, being the only 7 years as an assistant or anything close to in his career and he never played professionally either. Feels like an appointment straight outta the Venkys top drawer. Driven largely by one factor, he'll be the cheapest option around. They couldn't have picked a less inspiring choice if they tried.
  4. If the league still hand out sanctions for breaching FFP rules after the last 14 months, it just reinforces thay they aren't fit for purpose.
  5. Well, thats the end of a completely shite season. Only thing to look forward to now is the sacking of the Coventrio. We've been waiting till the end of the season for what feels like forever and now we are finally here. Let's hope the Coventrio are binned off ASAP.
  6. Eh? Didn't you see Mogga shrug his shoulders and say "Doesn't matter if we win or not" the other day? The man bleeds blue and white!
  7. Gutted that Derby are staying up. Them going down was the only thing worth taking note of today.
  8. Instead its a friendly in all but name. Our manager doesn't care what the result is, so why would the players or fans?
  9. I quite like the midfield 3 of Trav, Buckley and Davenport. Hopefully it works well.
  10. Evans, Johnson, Downing are guaranteed to come on in place of Buckley, Trav and Davenport, all at the same time, irrespective of the scoreline, so they can have their final appearance.
  11. Because he isn't from Boro Because he isn't from Boro
  12. Just thinking this. If you invest in something, you want a return. The ONLY way anyone would get any return on us is via promotion. If Venkys actually find someone stupid enough to hand over millions of pounds for Venkys to make decisions with it, then fair play to them. After watching the car crash over the last 11 years, surely anyone investing any money would want some serious say in where the moneys going? I.e, not to another HSH reject.
  13. Bloody hell! That's it then, the height of our ambition, avoid relegation from the fucking championship? Cheers Venky's.
  14. “If we win then that’s fine, it doesn’t really matter.” https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19285004.rovers-selection-clues-come-chelsea-tonight/ Don't bother turning up lads, doesn't matter either way. No point in tuning in either, the manager doesn't even give a toss.
  15. He'll probably get 20mins, break down and miss pre season. Which would mean he would be totally useless for next season as well.
  16. No sleep lost over Evans leaving. But our remaining midfield options are pretty injury prone (as was Evans) We've lacked a proper good centre mid for years.
  17. Ayala is in the squad for this. 😂 Couldn't make it up. Plays when he wants.
  18. He won't have even looked at the CL "table". Probably doesn't even care he's made it to the final (or doesn't know he's in one 🤔)
  19. Tuchel is so shit, whats this Champions League final stuff? Where's the slow build over 4 years? Useless.
  20. Sheff wed could beat Derby and relegate them on goal diff Derby have done a few dodgy things and escaped punishment (Selling ground back to themselves, Rooney being a "coach" to avoid FFP sanctions) I'd have no problem with them going into league one.
  21. Derby can still go down and it should be an interesting final weekend. Derby v Sheff Wed Cardiff v Rotherham Bottom of the table:
