Pretty damning for Gallagher and Vale that we'd rather start without a striker than use one of those. We always knew the death of the second half of the season would be down to now signing a striker in January. We got lucky last night, although I don't think we played too badly overall, our attacking is pretty woeful.

Imagine the uproar if we'd appointed Michael Carrick (from me included) but what a job he's doing at Boro.

Nothing will happen, at best they'll get a fine (which means very little to people with that much wealth), the problem is that whatever Mickey mouse punishment they hand out will set the precedent for future punishments and clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle etc will just accept that fine as part of huge spending sprees. The European Super league would replace the champions league, teams still compete domestically, so Premier League won't care too much about that.

Abysmal result but it's there for all to see, not signing a striker is going to kill us for the second half of the season. You can, to some extent by pass the poor central midfield but in Gally and Vale we have 2 of the poorest strikers around.

Never thought I'd see the day when Joe Rankin-Costello goes after a player who chopped him down. Seeing Tyler Morton backing him up probably made him regret this choice 😂
